The product benefits from HUUB’s latest aerodynamic research, and tweaks have been made to improve the overall aero performance of the range including upper arm aero fabric. The suit also features aerodynamic rear pockets that are large enough to contain nutrition and race essentials. The contoured chamois pad has been developed over years and provides cushioning where needed whilst in the TT position, yet is still minimal so that you are not encumbered when running. The suit has a performance fit which adds to the aerodynamic qualities of the suit, with folded back silicone grippers to keep the suit in place.
Utilising the world-class local Derby Arena velodrome and the Sports engineering Hub wind tunnel in Northampton, the HUUB Anemoi 2 Plus 22 Tri Suit has been refined and tested on a broad range of athletes. Created with fully bonded seams for improved wind cheating performance this suit saved an average of 4 watts in the trails compared to the standard Anemoi Tri Suit. Designed with longer arms and legs to further improve the aero and time saving benefits alongside Arms Neutral™ positioning and two rear aero pockets for storage. Arms Neutral™ Set Sleeves HUUB created Arms Neutral to enhance the body position most held during your activity and is a feature originally derived from their wetsuits. The cycling kit sleeves are cut in an arms forward position, to create neutral fabric tension on the body in your most held position.
The standard, Dan Bigham designed Anemoi Aero Suit was created by first working to amass a large collection of race data from a variety of triathletes - short, middle and long course, male and female, and age group up to Olympic champions. This data was then used to dictate the direction of the design, knowing that a small change in the drag force experienced can result in an enhanced and much faster performance. Working to create turbulence only where it is needed and minimising skin friction everywhere else creates an energised boundary layer that can resist changes in curvature and shape around the body. Working through countless prototypes to discover the best fabrics, panel positioning, seam lines and much more, HUUB has managed to design an incredibly aerodynamic suit that works consistently for every rider. These design achievements have been pushed even further with the HUUB Anemoi+ Aero Suit thanks to the introduction of fully bonded seams. Progressing their developments to make you more streamlined and deliver more speed, this latest addition has been tried and tested and was found to make an average saving of 4-watts in comparison to the original suit.
Designed in collaboration with Andy Potts and the AP Racing team, the HUUB Pinnacle Air Seal Swimming Goggles is made to be the most comfortable goggle ever made. No more goggle lines or pressure points thanks to custom airfit technology, double-walled air cushion and soft silicone gaskets while anti-fog coating, mirror lenses and UV protection deliver optical clarity and a wide field of vision.
