These hubs are designed to be used with the traditional 6-bolt disc standard for greater compatibility with non Shimano disc brake systems. Deore XT hubs feature cup and cone bearings for durability, strength and smooth rotation. The Borozon treated cone bearing races provide precision low-friction rolling. whilst effective sealing keeps water and dirt out of the bearings, ensuring constant smoothness and longevity, whilst keeping the grease in place.The super quick engaging Freehub body with pawl engagement every 10 degrees gives near instant power transfer and can be used with 8, 9 & 10-speed cassette sprockets. The hub's Lightweight design features an oversized 14mm alloy axle for rigidity and the included quick release lever is lightweight and easy to adjust.
