Total Tech hubs are both RHD and LHD compatible through a SDS (switch drive system) driver. The Tech V2 rear hub uses a fully CNC machined alloy hub shell with low profile, recessed spoke flanges for great strength and low weight. The female axle is heat treated chromoly and uses 2x 17mm hex nuts for a neat and safe look, these hex bolts also feature a 6mm allen broach for multiple tool fittings. The Tech rear hubs use the reputable, tried and tested SDS switch driver system which allows the user the option to switch the hub to left hand or right hand drive in minutes with simple tools. This SDS system features 4 independently sprung pawls and runs on hard wearing, low maintenance polymer bushes, the hub shell uses 2 high quality Japanese sealed cartridge bearings with CNC machining alloy cones for smooth and long lasting performance. Dave Fisher, Profile’s head machinist, has created these limited edition, drilled out, Profile Mini Hubs. The Cats Eye Hubs have the same internals and hardware options as the Mini Hubs. Made in the USA, the Profile Mini hub features a low flange hub shell machined from heat treated 6061 aluminium spinning on two precision sealed bearings. The hub shell is CNC machined in Barnoldswick, England from a single forged billet of 2014-T6 aluminium and uses a 7075 aluminium cassette body. Both these are now machined to allow fitting of the new generation of 11 speed cassettes from Shimano, but still allow for use of 9 and 10 speed Shimano and Sram cassettes by means of a removable spacer. Hubs are also available to suit Campagnolo 9, 10 and 11 speed cassettes. The hub is also fitted with our new 40 tooth ratchet with 4 pawl engagement, giving a quick, dependable drive.
