The SRAM Red Exogram crankset features a completely hollow construction all the way to the spider. It's hidden bolt pattern makes better use of carbon fibre to further improve stiffness and shed weight. As always for seamless, flawless performance and Yaw compatibility, the chainset has been equipped with X-GlideR chainrings. The chainrings are designed for an optimised shifting performance with the Yaw front derailleur. The stiffer rings (5mm 7075-T6 aluminium CNC-machined) feature upshift rivets with an advanced design adopted from SRAM XX. CNC machining allows for precision control of each tooth shape, ramp, and nearly every shifting feature of the chainring. The PC XX1 Chain is a truly revolutionary product from SRAM. SRAM Force CX1 (Force 1) is the only true 1X dedicated cyclocross system which offers a complete drivetrain that is lighter, simpler and tougher while offering a clean look and optimal gear selection for cyclocross. The tall square teeth edges engage the chain earlier than traditional triangle shaped teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile, as well as rounded chamfer edges, help manage a deflected chain.
