The excellent weather protection of the Windstopper fabric is improved even further by the addition of a DWR treatment as well as selective seam sealing, with addition seam sealing and double stitching on the shoulders. Along with a waterproof YKK Vislon Zipper, the jacket is essentially waterproof while not compromising it's excellent dry weather performance. An occasional drop may seep through the seams, but you'll still be warm and dry with the jacket letting any internal moisture evaporate with ease.
