The new SRAM Rival 22 front derailleur shares many of the same great design features as the top of the range Red 22 and Force 22 derailleurs but comes in at a more wallet friendly price. Like the more expensive models the Rival 22 front derailleur features YAW technology which means that the derailleur adjusts its yaw relative to the chain line. In other words, the derailleur cage rotates to align perfectly with the chain in any given position. This not only improves shifting accuracy and speed, it eliminates the need to "trim" the derailleur to prevent the maddening chain rub that can occur toward the back of the derailleur's cage, regardless of what chainring/cog combination you select. As Rival 22 is 11-speed it also features the revolutionary integrated chain spotter, which protects against chain drop, against scratches, and against frustration. The Chain Spotter can be removed, or adjusted independently of the derailleur's position, so it's configurable to any frameset. Compatibility: SRAM Red 22, Force 22 & Rival 22 Shift-Brake levers/ SRAM R2C Aero SL-1190, R2C Aero SL-1150, 900 Aero & 500 Aero shiftersMounting Options: Braze-OnWeight: 75g (Braze-On), Chain Spotter with Hardware 10g
A groundbreaking design introduced last year, now Yaw technology comes to the SRAM Force 22 front derailleur. It uses a modified parallelogram to actually rotate the derailleur cage as you shift. This gives more clearance for the chain in each respective chainring, so eliminating chain rub in any gear combination without the need for trim on the front shifter. The slim spring design gives more clearance for the frame, minimising any interference issues and the integrated (but removable) chain spotter removes any chance of chain damage to your frame. At only 79g (10.2g for the chain spotter), the Force 22 front derailleur is one big difference that doesn't add much.he front derailleur cage rotates to maintain a consistent angular relationship with the chain. Yaw technology eliminates the need for shifter trim. As a result, shifts feel more direct, more precise, and combined with the new Red crankset and chainrings, delivers an unmatched performance advantage in front shifting.
The SRAM Red Shift-Brake Controls feature a fresh new look and an array of SRAM s very best features. SRAM follows a philosophy of perfecting the interface between the rider and the bike, and that is exactly what they have done with the Red Shift-Bake Controls. Every detail has been scrutinized, from the transition between the handlebar and hoods, to the grip texture, finger wrap and separate interfaces with both the shifter and the brake lever. The end result is an extremely comfortable, highly adjustable lever that feels like a natural extension of the rider. The ErgoFit textured body improves grip and finger wrap with a reduced diameter, offering better control and a better transition to the bar. The Individual Reach Adjust is easy to access and adjust allowing for quick and easy personalisation. The Larger Carbon ErgoBlade improves shifting from the drops, the DoubleTap Technology delivers both shifts from a single leaver and the ZeroLoss Technology ensures that shifts engage immediately. The SRAM GX trigger shifters maintain the legacy of X0 shifting with features and technologies optimized for 2x10 and Exact Actuation. An aluminium lever offers incredible strength and stiffness at a super-low weight and the legacy of the hugely popular X0 line continues in this SRAM Gear Shifter through technologies such as Exact Actuation. This feature stabilises the other components to enhance smoothness and ease, making gear shifts instantaneous and ultra-fluid. Multi-position mounting allows for ergonomic positioning in alignment with your hand s natural geometry, making shifting all the more effortless and keeping fatigue at bay on longer rides.
SRAM X5 offers proven performance, a high quality feel and strong market acceptance. The X5 provides a fantastic new point of value in the SRAM shifter offering. It is light, tough and World Cup DH proven. SRAM performance at the opening 9 and 10-speed price point.

The new SRAM Rival 22 Hydralic Disc Brake represents the entry-level price point into the road hydraulic game, but with all the performance of the more expensive systems. When designing the Rival 22 disc brakes SRAM looked at their original road and cyclocross hydraulic braking systems and pulled apart every molecule of their anatomy to find room for improvements and make them even better and more reliable. The lever body, housing the reservoir and master cylinder, was reconfigured for more efficient internal spacing while at the same time boosting strength and stiffness, resulting in solid, consistent performance, regardless of braking or weather conditions. The master cylinder piston itself was also completely revamped, receiving an all-new bore design and new seals, after being subjected to thousands upon thousands of testing hours in every temperature and performance setting imaginable. The new higher-capacity fluid bladder, was also redesigned to improve fluid flow, so your brakes feel as great brand new as they do after a season of racing. The caliper spring was also re-engineered for more even pad contact and smoother retraction, translating into more consistency and control in hand, regardless of riding conditions. Finally, the shift paddles were trimmed slightly to be both lighter and more ergonomic, and cyclocrossers especially will appreciate the new shape that allows for greater clearance when wearing thicker gloves.Forged Aluminium Disc Caliper / Stainless HardwareStainless Steel Backed PadsRear: 1800mm wDirect Mount HardwareFront: 950mm wDirect Mount HardwareFluid: DOT 5.1Rotor And Bracket Sold Separately
