The K-Edge Garmin Edge/Forerunner fixed mount has all of the great features as the adjustable model but instead comes in a fixed design. The mount is ideal for MTB and road bike users who prefer to mount cycle computers directly on to the stem. This great design simply replaces a standard 5mm spacer on the steerer tube and is then locked securely in place by the top compression cap which allows the unit to sit above the stem. The mount is especially useful in fitting the larger Garmin 510, 800 and 810 size computers above an array of stem configurations. The splined adaptor screws onto the hub just like a normal cog, then simply slide the sprocket onto the adaptor. Then both carrier & sprocket are held in place with the lockring.
