This Race Face Atlas riser bar is manufactured from cold drawn, seamless Air Alloy material with an internal taper to increase its strength and durability without adding weight. The updated ultra-low and ultra-wide riser geometry reduce cockpit height to lower the front end (bike’s crown to axle height).
The low 10mm or 20mm rise on the Race Face Next 35 carbon bar is ideal for lowering your cockpit. Get flat bar cockpit height with the comfort and good looks of a riser bar. 760mm full width for increased control without sacrificing weight. The Race Face Next bar has just got bigger, longer and lighter. Increasing the bar diameter to 35mm allowed Race Face to shave material from the bar resulting in a dramatic reduction in overall weight while retaining the proven stiffness and performance.
The stem itself is measurably stiffer than the 31.8mm offering and although the system is a seemingly burlier build, the weight savings gained by the reduction in bar material actually makes the 35 system lighter overall. Read the Wiggle Blog Review of the Race Face Atlas 35mm Stem
