Ergon GP3 Grips - Black - Small, Black
  • £42.99

Ergon GP3 GripsThe Ergon GP3 is a grip developed to support the palm of your hand, it now features a composite 3-finger bar end with anti-slip rubber inserts and aluminium clamping mechanism.Adding 10mm in length to the bar end (compared to the previous version) the Ergonomic form has been optimized. The bar end and the grip platform can be independently adjusted for the correct support angle and provides the perfect fit for your individual riding style. As hand size is different from person to person, Ergon manufactures the GP, GC, GR, GS, GE and GA ranges in two sizes - Small and Large. This difference is in the diameter of the grip. The reason for this is that a larger hand is better able to grip a larger grip with less stress and effort. This is the same in reverse for small grip. A smaller hand needs a smaller grip to allow the hand to close around it. Of course, this is all also down to personal preference.Features:Regular grips with no length difference for Shifters.Material: Composite with rubber inserts (Bar end)Use: Mountain bike, TouringBar size: 22.2mmStandard grips are 140mm in lengthGripshift grips are 110mm in lengthRohloff/Nexus grips feature one short 110mm grip and one regular 140mm gripVariation:Regular Shifters: Both grips are long for normal shiftersGripshift® : Both grips are shortened for dual gripshiftRohloff®/Nexus®: Right grip is shortened for hub gear shifter

The bar end angle can be adjusted independently from the angle of the grip for the perfect personal fit and the bar end doubles as a clamp to lock the grip in place and prevent movement while riding. Like all the grips in the GP-Series, the GP3 eliminates numb hands, aching fingers, and tired forearms. The GP3 is made from 100% German, TÜV-certified rubber compounds of the purest quality.Sizing Information:In order to help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely envelop the grip, which is why Ergon offers many grips in two size diameters Small and Large. The difference refers to the grip width (hand size), meaning a larger hand will have a more positive fit on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand is better fit to a smaller grip. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5" we recommend Small, for 8.5 to 10.5" Large usually is better. To measure your hand/glove size you need to measure around the largest part of the hand over the knuckle while making a fist, excluding the thumb.
