Assos Equipe RS Spring Fall Jacket Jackets

Come spring and autumn, temperatures may not be as extreme as the depths of winter, but a short sleeve jersey, arm warmers, and gilet may not cut it when it comes to comfort and warmth. The Equipe RS Spring Fall Jacket is there to fill the gap in those hard to dress for transitional months. Made from Push-Pull exterior and more insulating Rhombus on the inside, the twinDeck construction offers an incredible combination of insulation and breathability. This is then complemented by Assos' unique and exclusive Diffusor 'air-valve' system on the shoulders - these vents draw in cooling air to circulate between the two layers, preventing overheating and regulating body temperature. When you're on the limit, there's now no need to unzip to cool the body and you can remain low and aero - perfect for racing. The Equipe RS Spring/Fall collection is designed to allow riders to train harder (higher HR and watts) at lower temperatures while maintaining that perfect micro-climate - not too clammy, not too cold, not too hot. Assos aeroFit As you'd expect of a cycling jacket with race-ready credentials, the Assos aeroFit delivers a very close to the body, compressive fit to ensure reduced excess drag and no wasted energy when you're in the pace-line. The sleeves are made with Assos' SONIC fabric, a lightly brushed insulating fabric that perfectly moulds to the arms and features ribbed detailing to improve aerodynamics. Raw cut edges ensure a low profile fit with gloves and maintains the aerodynamics of the body.  Whether it's testing fitness in fast and furious early season races or slow and steady autumn training, whatever your ride you'll remain perfectly comfortable when you pull on the Equipe RS Spring Fall Jacket during the transitional seasons of the year.

There comes a point in the year when the seasons begin to transition and summer shorts are no longer warm enough and yet pulling on full winter tights isn't quite necessary. Enter the Equipe RS Spring Fall Bib Shorts S9 - cosy shorts for training and racing in the cooler conditions of autumn and spring. Warmth and Breathability in Harmony The thigh panels are made from Assos' heavyweight brushed-back Osmos Heavy material - super-soft against the skin, insulating and yet highly breathable, it ensures a perfect temperature whether it's a hard early-season race effort or a steady autumnal spin. The warp-knit outer provides support and compression of the muscles, encouraging circulation to the legs, vital to keep body warmth high. To the front, around your more sensitive areas, you'll also be happy to find windproof Sphere Ultra textile in a double-layer, locking out icy blasts while still maintaining breathability for comfort.  Race Proven Comfort Keeping the shorts comfortably in place is Assos' A-Lock Engineering bib design, featuring rollBar braces, creating a short that's perfectly stabilised and holding the seat insert in the correct position at all times. Speaking of the seat pad, this is Assos' EQUIPE RS Insert. In order to boost warmth, the ventilation holes from the summer version are removed but everything else remains - the superAir microShock foam, 3D waffle and goldenGate technology - making for incredible comfort on the saddle. Wear them on their own or pair up with knee and leg warmers, the Equipe RS Spring Fall Bib Shorts S9 will see you comfortably through the cooler months of your cycling year.

Assos Equipe RS Bib Shorts S9 Series Bib Shorts

Push the Boundaries Professional riders demand a lot from their cycling kit and in particular their bib shorts, spending hours upon hours on the saddle, facing wildly varying weather, challenging climbs and heart-racing descents plus the lung-bursting efforts of racing for the win. And it's these demands that the Equipe RS Bib Shorts S9 have been engineered to deal with. With no corners cut, they'll leave you experiencing the most exemplary levels of comfort and muscle support.  A-Lock Engineering As the name suggests, the A-Lock Engineering design is about creating shorts that 'lock into place', with the seat insert held exactly where it's needed in order to deliver unrivalled on-the-saddle comfort.  It begins with the Type.441 textile. With exceptional compression qualities and silk-like feel, it provides superb stability and comfort to the shorts. Furthermore, it offers excellent moisture management, is anti-odour and is durable too. All yielding excellent cycling performance.  Float like a Butterfly The next component of the A-Lock engineering system is the design and construction of the short panels. Previous Assos shorts have used four panels. The S9 uses just two. This gives a reduction in weight and fewer seams, boosting long-ride comfort.  The two panels are shaped into Assos' unique 'butterfly' panel design. This hugs your legs and lower back snugly while also maintaining superb flexibility. This holds the insert securely in place for an incredible feeling of support and comfort no matter how intense your efforts. rollBar Bib Design Supporting the lower shorts section is Assos' rollBar bib strap system. Acting like a car's anti-sway bar, the rollBar bibs stabilise and secure the seat insert in place.  The straps are attached across the same seam as the insert, maintaining the perfect degree of tension as you transfer weight. So whether on the saddle or jumping out of the saddle to sprint, the seat pad remains perfectly placed.  The bib straps are a combination of highly elastic materials and a single piece in the back forming an A-frame that perfectly supports the shorts. In the front, the straps are made of a more flexible material, with an antibacterial carbon weave, to wick moisture and lay flat - the result is extremely lightweight straps you will barely notice.    S9 Multi-Layer Seat Insert The heart of the shorts is the multi-layered S9 seat insert. Next to the skin you'll experience the soothing comfort of an incredibly soft antibacterial microfiber. KraterCooler ventilation holes at the front of the pad prevent excess sweat from hanging around to cause discomfort.  A 3D-shaped 3-layer perforated waffle foam is the next layer to provide comfort. Reducing weight and bulk but easing pressure, it's ready for a tough day on the saddle.  Then comes the superAir microShock foam core. It offers a combination of shock-absorption and memory return, adding comfort over all road surfaces and re-adapting to your body position every time you shift weight. It's a pad designed for the rigours of the World Tour so you get the very best comfort possible.  Conclusion Assos have once again pushed the boundaries of what defines high-performance cycling bib shorts. Fabric, construction and fit are all carefully refined and engineered for on-the-bike comfort.  Their finest fitting and most comfortable bib shorts to date, letting you push your performance beyond your expectations.
