Campagnolo Chorus Eps 11 Speed Rear Derailleur Rear Derailleurs
  • £266.99
  • RRP £396.99
  • Saving you £33

The Campagnolo Chorus EPS groupset takes a great deal of its DNA from its mechanical counterpart as it represents a more accessible version of Campagnolo performance, quality and attention to detail but delivers it in the laser-like precision package of an EPS drivetrain. The shifting performance of the Chorus EPS groupset is exactly the same as its lighter weight siblings, Record and Super Record, making for a transmission fit for professional racing. Shifting even under heavy load is no problem for the Chorus EPS transmission and mud, grime and debris have met their match against such powerful motors. The EPS rear derailleur is comprised mainly of a mechanical structure, derived from the mechanical gear and composed of a derailleur rod/parallelogram/derailleur cage, of a worm screw enabled by an electronic actuator. As with the derailleur, the electronic rear derailleur actuator is composed of a gear motor and a sensor, the built-in resolver, that reads its movements. The geometry of the parallelogram has been made more rigid and optimised to promote interaction with the electronic parts. The rear derailleur is also equipped with a play recovery system using a helicoidal spring that optimises stability and precision and keeps operation and performance constant over time, even after many kms have been covered. As with the mechanical rear derailleur, it is possible to optimise its position with respect to the frame and chain by acting on two adjusting screws: the screw that adjusts the mechanical end stop and the screw that adjusts the distance between the upper pulley and sprockets. By using these screws it is possible to optimise the installation of the rear derailleur and increase the precision of its operation. DTI: Digital Tech Intelligence is housed inside the Power Unit and it continuously monitors the signals that arrive from all the EPS components, thus managing their operation. Multi-Shifting There are no longer any limits to multi-shifting and the choice is at the fingertips of the cyclist. Ride back home The uncoupling mechanism of the rear derailleur is useful if the battery runs out ""on the road"", allowing you to manually ""uncouple"" the rear derailleur to position it on which ever sprocket you require. Waterproof In order to achieve the IP67 classification, all the electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests, which proved their ability to function perfectly under one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.

Campagnolo Record EPS 11 Speed Rear Derailleur Rear Derailleurs
  • £515.99

The EPS rear derailleur is comprised mainly of a mechanical structure, derived from the mechanical gear and composed of a derailleur rod/parallelogram/derailleur cage, of a worm screw enabled by an electronic actuator. As with the derailleur, the electronic rear derailleur actuator is composed of a gear motor and a sensor, the built-in resolver, that reads its movements. The geometry of the parallelogram has been made more rigid and optimised to promote interaction with the electronic parts. The lower and upper bodies, the parallelogram and the carbon derailleur cage are moved by a screw system and lead worm screw (not a spring screw) which, in turn, is enabled by the electronic actuator that communicates with the DTI. The built-in resolver inside the actuator is capable of reading the movements of the rear derailleur at any time and optimising its position by communicating with the DTI (Digital Tech Intelligence). Campagnolo Super Record/Record V3 EPS Interface Groupsets

With its new design as well as a plethora of useful and innovative new technologies, this small component improves the EPS experience in a big way. Improved integration, facilitated and nofuss charging, improved led diagnostics and wireless technology that allows for increased interaction with the groupset are just a few of the improvements housed in its tiny structure. Enclosed and protected in the Power Unit and interface, ""Digital Tech Intelligence"" transmits, receives and processes data thousands of times a second. An electronic brain which instantaneously synchronises all the functions requested by the rider. With just a simple click of the controls, D.T.I transmits the corresponding signal instantly, accurately and reliably to the rear or front derailleur, for levels of performance and control feel never experienced before with a conventional drivetrain. But as well as all this, the D.T.I. system also monitors the entire drivetrain and each of its components, continuously checking battery level and functionality, and checking that the rear and front derailleur are working correctly. The procedures to reset the rear derailleur and derailleur to zero are essential for the system to function. These procedures allow the system to learn the reference positions of the chain on the sprockets and chainrings, which will be used to calculate the positions that need to be used in all operating conditions. During the resetting to zero phase the movements of the rear derailleur and derailleur occur continuously, and not through set movements as during adjustment, and they depend on the pressure time of levers 2 and 3. The client can adjust the reference position of the rear derailleur and/or derailleur using the adjustment procedure known as Riding Setting. The adjustment of the rear derailleur is designed especially in case you change the wheel for one with a set of sprockets that are positioned differently with respect to the drop out.It is possible to start the procedure for either the rear derailleur or the derailleur from any chainring. Every time either keys 2 or 3 is pressed, the system performs a set displacement of 0.25 mm if you act on the rear derailleur, and approximately 0.1 mm if you act on the derailleur. When you have completed the adjustment phase, the system will correct the established positions of all chainrings based on the new settings. The EPS system is capable of automatically detecting a whole range of malfunctions. If a malfunction is detected, the EPS system turns on an RGB led located on the power unit. Depending on the area where the malfunction has been detected the led takes on different colours, as per the table below. Being that in some situations the cause of the malfunction making the led light up on the power unit may be temporary, a number of operations are recommended to the end user depending on the colour of the light that appears on the PowerUnit."

Campagnolo Super Record EPS 11 Speed Ergopower Levers Gear Levers

Campagnolo wins Red Dot Award 2015 The Super Record EPS 2015 electronic groupset has won the prestigious reddot Award: Best of the Best The Mode Key: In addition to the 3 classic levers, the EPS Ergopower controls are equipped with what is known as a MODE key. By pressing on it briefly you can view the battery charge level, whereas by pressing on it longer you will enter adjustment mode without ever taking your hands off the controls. Comfort: The shape places the levers in a position that is easy to access at all times, without any effort at all, regardless of the steering position and whatever the size of your hands. By studying the positions of cyclists' hands, in fact, there were found to be 3 different riding positions depending on the route and riding style itself. These studies made it possible to create the special and exclusive shape of the EPS Ergopower controls, which unlike the mechanical controls, are equipped with a dedicated hood and the control body is made from a very new material that is more rigid and lighter. Effective Braking: The Ultra-Shift(TM) shape of the levers, as with the mechanical controls allows you to act on the brakes more powerfully. When you have a high grip on the handlebars, especially, it is possible to put the brakes on with more power and faster. Click Feeling: The levers simulate the classic Campagnolo Click Feeling thanks to the application of MultiDome technology. DTI: Digital Tech Intelligence is housed inside the Power Unit and it continuously monitors the signals that arrive from all the EPS components, thus managing their operation. Multi-Shifting: There are no longer any limits to Multi-shifting and the choice is at the fingertips of the cyclist. Zero Settings: The procedures to reset the rear derailleur and derailleur to zero are essential for the system to function. Riding Settings: The client can adjust the reference position of the rear derailleur and/or derailleur using the adjustment procedure known as Riding Setting. One Lever - One Action: The EPS system CONTROL levers are positioned and act according to the same logic as Campagnolo mechanical gear levers. E2Ergonomy: The design of the body of the control conforms perfectly to your hands. Water Proof: In order to achieve the IP67 classification, all the electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests, which proved their ability to function perfectly under one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.
