Following on from the success of the original Stubbing stem, Ragley has created this revised V2 model. It looks similar to its predecessor but now features an updated faceplate to give a wider clamping area, plus additional machining to save more weight. This is also combined with Ragley's ‘Lock-Down’ clamping system, which allows riders to use the two top bolts fully and leave tensioning to the bottom bolts. As a result, it avoids any problems with uneven tensioning across the faceplate and makes for an incredibly stiff front end setup. To ensure you get the exact correct length for your bike, Ragley offers the Stubbing stem in three length options to choose from: 40, 50 or 60mm, as well as in four colour options. All of the stems have a 31.8mm clamp. Ragley has also designed the Stubbing stem together with the updated Ragley Wiser handlebars (available separately) to make sure you get a no-compromise set-up that is designed to work as one. To emphasize this, both products feature a beautiful matching finish that's also anodised for additional protection against corrosion and increased durability in all-weather conditions.
The Renthal Apex stem features a unique clamping system. This allows much of the stem body material to be removed, whilst retaining the strength and stiffness demanded by modern, wide handlebars. The clamps are inserted over the small diameter section of the handlebar and slid into the centre, giving a 240-degree wrap of the handlebar. MTB Stem with an Advanced Construction The construction on the Renthal Apex 31.8mm model comprises a fully CNC machined 2014 aluminium body and 7075 aluminium clamps. An oversize centre bore, extensive 3D machining and external webbing maximise structural strength and stiffness and minimise weight. Continuing Renthal's philosophy of giving you the choice in your set-up, the stem is available in 40, 50, 60 and 70mm lengths. Each of these sizes can be flipped to give either a +/-6-degree of rise. This gives options for riders and bikes of all size, type and style.
Details: The stem is horizontally divided down the centre which allows it to be CNC machined in two pieces. This method allows unrestricted access to the core of the stem which enables weight to be reduced to the absolute minimum without compromising strength. In addition this provides an uninterrupted U shape clamping area, which eliminates the stress risers found on most other clamps which can lead to handlebar failure. For your consideration: Have you considered purchasing the Renthal Fatbar Lite Carbon Handlebars to complete the package?
Designed for use in all types of mountain biking, the Renthal Apex 35 mountain bike (MTB) stem is light enough for cross-country racing and strong enough for use with 780mm wide enduro handlebars. It also features a unique 240-degree wrap on its bar clamping section. This is designed to be inserted over the smaller section of the bar and then the bar is slid into place for a super-snug wrap and secure hold. 35mm MTB Stem with an Advanced Construction With its fully CNC machined 2014 alloy body, extensive 3-D machining and external webbing, the Renthal Apex 35 stem offers maximum structural strength with minimal weight. Also, the 7075 aluminium clamps provide a super-durable and flex-free hold no matter how hard you thrash your ride.
Featuring a six-bolt design, a sturdy connection is assured between your bars and steerer tube, with the C-shaped clamp system providing a firm grasp around the bar, improving handling and steering on every run. Available in two lengths and with the choice of zero or 10mm rise, this superb stem is a great addition to any adventurous MTB cockpit.
The strength, stiffness and durability were all matched to the 31.8mm equivalent, with an average of just 1.5g added to the Integra. The new Integra 35 Direct Mount stems feature the same lightweight, 6-bolt design as the original Integra II and Renthal have improved the structure of the stem. The Integra 35 uses the same C-shape clamping system as the Apex stem range, which has been increased in size to cope with the demands of top level DH racing. The use of two independent, C-shape handlebar clamps allows the stem body material to be reduced to a minimum, whilst maintaining an incredibly stiff and strong structure. The ultra-wide, 64mm handlebar clamping area increases torsional rigidity and the use of just six bolts vastly reduces overall weight. In addition, the uninterrupted clamp on the underside of the handlebar eliminates stress risers found on most other clamps, which can lead to handlebar failure.
The Carbon C260 adds to the amazing strength-to-weight ratio of Ritchey's C260 alloy and Carbon Matrix stems through the use of high modulus carbon fiber, increased boom diameter and a wider clamp.
The Press-fit clamp design installs and removes like a standard stem and is compatible with all 31.8mm bars. Available in polished silver.
These strong and durable bolts are the ideal replacement parts for your Ritchey stem.
Taking inspiration from Ritchey's C260 model, the C220 gives a tighter, more secure hold, covering 220 degrees of your bar for a snug and firm fitting. In doing so, the bolt forces are more aligned, allowing for the stem body to fully embrace the bar, preventing damage and instilling confidence with motion. Flip-Flop mount compatible and easy to install and remove, the WCS C220 stem is a prime addition to your bike's steering column.
