Sitting just below Elite’s top-of-the-range model, this is a mid- to upper-tier trainer that offers a respectably smooth ride feel and accurate power data, at a competitive price point. All in all, it’s a trainer that’s hard to beat. Accurate Power, Smooth Ride Feel Unlike most trainers on the market, Elite have integrated a power meter to measure power data. This, combined with the company’s proprietary OTS (Optical Torque Sensor) technology, has enabled the company to reach an independently certified accuracy of 1.5%. To counter the problem of a heavy unrealistic ride feel, common in early and cheaper indoor trainers, Elite uses an oversized gearing wheel to increase the RPM of the flywheel. The RHD/LHD compatible hub features a modern slim shape along with all the durability you've come to expect from a G-Sport hub and features a 7075-T6 aluminum hub shell, super durable and smooth 16003 sealed cartridge hub shell bearings, a 14mm 4130 chromoly axle bolts w/17mm 4130 chromoly female axle and a 9T driver with 3-Pawl independent spring design and precision caged needle bearings. The Roloway is laced to G-Sport's Ribcage rim. The Ribcage has been one of the only rims to have true design breakthroughs in recent years. Since its introduction the competition has scrambled to catch up but still remain a poor copy, so if it doesn't say GSport on the rim, don't expect it to perform like a G-Sport rim. The strength to weight ratio of the Ribcage cannot be matched. The entire design revolves around the use of a proprietary high strength aluminum alloy made specially for G-Sport in an on-site foundry. It is a lightweight rim that can take anything you throw at it. With the Ribcage, the spoke holes are re-enforced with patented ribs that support the sides of each spoke nipple and eliminate the possibility of nipple pull through under even the highest loads.
