With so much talk of performance one may forget about the all-important aspect of control. The Potenza 11™ Ergopower controls maintain the fantastic ergonomics of the entire Campagnolo Revolution 11+ line offering a grip and control that is identical to the versions the professional riders demand. While the ergonomics have been maintained, the hypoallergenic silicon material hoods have been slightly altered in order to offer even better grip and comfort. The internal mechanism that permits the Power-Shift function has been modified and improved to offer not only increased performance but also unrivalled durability. Power-Shift permits one single downshift at a time and this function permits the incorporation of an internal lever on both left and right Ergopower controls that is identical to the widely appreciated ergonomic controls of the EPS controls. The downshifting action for the front derailleur is blocked at one click to avoid any issues of dropped chains. Upshifting is possible at up to three gears with one single action and the new Ergopower internal mechanism, together with the new front derailleur, make upshifting a nearly effortless action. A 3 click movement ensures greater efficiency in upshifting and a reduced range of motion necessary from the use
The Campagnolo Veloce shifters boast a more ergonomic EPS style downshifting lever thus making an already ergonomic and user-friendly Ergopower controls even more so. Complete transmission control from any position is now even more possible thanks to the EPS style layout of the lever on both right and left side controls. Thanks to the lower range of throw required to push the power-shift mechanism of the Veloce transmissions, this lower profile and easy-access shift lever was made possible.
Genuine Campagnolo Ultrashift Ergo brake lever hoods available in two colours: Red, White. These brake lever hoods are compatible with the following Campagnolo groupsets. · Super Record 2009 - 2014 · Record 2009 - 2014 · Chorus 2009 - 2014 · Athena 2010 · Centaur 2009 - 2010 · Veloce 2009 - 2010 (only Ultra Shift)
Whether you need a replacement or need the extra length to remount your Athena EPS system under the Seat this is the cable for the job.
The design is derived directly from the 11-speed components with the oversized outer plate to provide greater rigidity to the entire system. The surface treatment protects it from corrosion and ensures that the Veloce(TM) rear derailleur maintains its performance over time.
Genuine replacement Campagnolo bearings for Super Record Ultra torque cups(Press fit or Threaded)
With the new Super Record, Record, and Chorus groupsets, shifting is extremely easy thanks to the long front plate of the front mech body, meaning greater leverage and therefore truly reduced movement when shifting. Shifting precision is achieved thanks to the design of the new narrower cages. The semi-inner cage, in aluminium, has features that improve shifting speed. The most efficient downshifting on the market is achieved thanks to the integrated outer semi-cage in carbon fibre, a distinctive Campagnolo feature on the Super Record and Record front mechs, or by the positioning of a plate on the tip of the Chorus front mech. S2 System (Secure Shifting System) The special support system built into the derailleur safeguards working of the drivetrain, guaranteeing maximum compatibility with frames on the market. Special Inner Cage Design The inner semi-cage, in aluminium, has features that improve shifting speed, give greater rigidity and provides more space for chain crossovers
The Campagnolo Chorus EPS groupset takes a great deal of its DNA from its mechanical counterpart as it represents a more accessible version of Campagnolo performance, quality and attention to detail but delivers it in the laser-like precision package of an EPS drivetrain. The shifting performance of the Chorus EPS groupset is exactly the same as its lighter weight siblings, Record and Super Record, making for a transmission fit for professional racing. Shifting even under heavy load is no problem for the Chorus EPS transmission and mud, grime and debris have met their match against such powerful motors. The EPS rear derailleur is comprised mainly of a mechanical structure, derived from the mechanical gear and composed of a derailleur rod/parallelogram/derailleur cage, of a worm screw enabled by an electronic actuator. As with the derailleur, the electronic rear derailleur actuator is composed of a gear motor and a sensor, the built-in resolver, that reads its movements. The geometry of the parallelogram has been made more rigid and optimised to promote interaction with the electronic parts. The rear derailleur is also equipped with a play recovery system using a helicoidal spring that optimises stability and precision and keeps operation and performance constant over time, even after many kms have been covered. As with the mechanical rear derailleur, it is possible to optimise its position with respect to the frame and chain by acting on two adjusting screws: the screw that adjusts the mechanical end stop and the screw that adjusts the distance between the upper pulley and sprockets. By using these screws it is possible to optimise the installation of the rear derailleur and increase the precision of its operation. DTI: Digital Tech Intelligence is housed inside the Power Unit and it continuously monitors the signals that arrive from all the EPS components, thus managing their operation. Multi-Shifting There are no longer any limits to multi-shifting and the choice is at the fingertips of the cyclist. Ride back home The uncoupling mechanism of the rear derailleur is useful if the battery runs out ""on the road"", allowing you to manually ""uncouple"" the rear derailleur to position it on which ever sprocket you require. Waterproof In order to achieve the IP67 classification, all the electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests, which proved their ability to function perfectly under one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.
Ultra Shift ergonomics This ensures a firm grip on the handlebars and fast, precise control of the levers. The special ergonomic design makes it possible to assume three different hand positions on the levers compared to the two traditional ones.
