Halo/Morningstar Spin Doctor Grease Injector tool.Specially developed by Morningstar tooling, this relatively simple tool allows long lasting grease to be pressure injected inside the bearings and pawls of the Spin Doctor freehub - without the need for complete disassembly. To Grease:Push-in the Freehub injector tool into the end of the freehub and apply grease into the tool via a grease gun, until you can see a small amount grease purging out of the backside of the freehub. Hi quality grease injection will provide long lasting lubrication. This tool can also be used to purge a contaminated freehub of old lube, water and grit.(Simply continue injecting excess grease, and the excess grease will be forced out of the back of the freehub, taking with it existing contaminants.)Note:2007 series Spin Doctor rear freehubs have genuine Finish Line TFG37 grease packed inside, plus a "lube hole" concealed under the cassette sprockets. To lube the pawls and bearings, simply remove the cassette and insert a grease gun pointed nozzle and squeeze! (Note: no need to pull-off hub end seals or use this special injector tool - but it CAN still be used if a full purge is required.)
Some riders need to fit Spin Doctor hubs to frames or forks with 14mm dropoutsTo convert an existing Halo Spin Doctor Disc hub into a BMX type nutted hub; simply remove the Alloy QR ends from your Spin Doctor Front Disc hub and fit these CNC machined Cro-Mo stub axlesComplete with steel nuts and washers.**Note: for HUHASDA4 Wide Boy 15 or 20mm thru axle hubs, HUHASDAQ 9mm QR Axle Conversion must be purchased for use.**
Halo SPIN DOCTOR MTB Rear; All purpose MTB sealed bearing rear cassette Disc hub.Light enough for Cross Country, rigid enough for Freeride, buff enough for DH.The Spin Doctor rear disc hub uses a bolt-on ball bearing cassette body with an integrated 3 pawl positive engagement drive. This places the 2 main hub sealed bearings on the outside of the hub (beyond the cassette body), providing superior axle support. The "outboard bearing" construction reduces axle flex and thus reduces bearing wear. When bolted together, the cassette and hub body become a strong, integrated unit, with 2 sealed cartridge main hub bearings and integrated Freehub looseball bearings.Sweeping shell styling and minimalist type International Disc mounts provide a beautiful looking, strong, light, rear MTB hub.Features;6061 Alloy CNC machined shell.,Shimano HG compatible cassette body.,International 6 bolt Disc Mounts.,Precision CNC Cr-Mo QR axle system.,Lightweight knurled alloy non-slip drop-out faces.,Bolt-On ball bearing integrated cassette body system.,Durable "Outboard" sealed cartridge bearings..Optional Extras;Saint type rear mech compatible axle option.,10mm Solid (nutted type BMX) axle kit option.,14mm Axle convertor kit to fit with 10mm Solid axle (converts to 10-14mm)..Compatibility;a) Quick Release 135mm. The two aluminium wedges of the strong and reliable Hope Head Doctor simply pull together and expand inside any 1.1/8" fork steerer tube, giving you a solid thread to pull the stem down.
Made from tough and durable 2014 aluminium, the four sizes in the Hope Space Doctor Headset spacers pack include two 5mm, one 10mm and one 20mm size. This enables you to run a low and slammed setup (ideal for road racing or cross country (XC) riding) or a more upright setup (ideal for road endurance, all mountain (AM) or enduro riding). The colouring and finish on these custom machined head spacers complement Hope's headsets and stems perfectly.
