The Proviz PixElite Gilet is a high performance garment for those chillier days when you need an extra layer. It will give you warmth and protection against the wind and showers along with having our new PixElite reflective fabric built in to the shoulders, sides and lower back for incredible reflectivity at night. The performance fit ensures great aerodynamic performance, but if you like a little bit more room it is best to move up by one size. The bulk of the gilet is made made from a soft-stretch mix of polyester, elastane and brushed thermal microfibre. Together they block the wind, keep you warm and regulate heat build-up on a hard winter ride. Back pockets give ample room for all the extras you like to carry on your ride and the middle lock-zip pocket will keep all of your valuables secure. About the fabric: The PixElite fabric is built in to the areas of the gilet that are most prominently seen when cycling at night or early morning and the reflective material helps drivers to more easily identify your position on the road. The fabric is designed specifically to be used in high-end garments where performance and breathability along with comfort, stretch and fit are all high on the agenda. It is manufactured using 3 layers that combine a perfect windproof, warm and breathable outer layer with incredible reflective capability. The Classic cycling gloves are designed in exactly the same way as our REFLECT360 cycling gloves, except for the reflective outer shell. Instead, these classic gloves have a black outer-layer with reflective trim across the knuckles, cuff and side panel. Padded palms help to give enhanced comfort and the silicone web grip gives great grip when it's raining. Underneath the outer layer there is an internal waterproof layer made from a Korean Hipora insert. Korean Hipora consists of a three-layer microporous silicone coating structure. The first layer prevents most water from passing, the second layer is a honeycomb structure that lets moisture in to then let it expel through the first layer, the third layer is a denser layer to added protection against water. The Proviz Switch jacket is a dual-layer, reversible garment that can be worn either way to give cyclists two options, one for day and one for night. By day, the light blue waterproof material helps to keep you clearly seen on the roads. When riding in the dark, you simply switch the jacket round to enable the reflective material to reflect back artificial light from street and vehicle lights in order for your position to be more clearly identified on the roads. It also has a perforated back to aid with making the jacket as breathable as possible. Two side pockets and two separate side vents help to keep the air flowing between the layers. About the fabrics: The fabrics used for the Switch range were chosen specifically to make the Switch cycling jacket extremely versatile. The reflective material used is the same as the highly popular REFLECT360 range and it is certified to CE EN 20471 standard.
