REGO Rapid Recovery Plus contains the highest quality protein concentrate with an added 2g of Leucine and 5g of L-Glutamine. This blend provides a rapid recovery formula which promotes the replenishment of muscle glycogen stores, muscle protein synthesis, gut function and rehydration. Carbohydrate is the main muscle fuel for our body during moderate to high-intensity exercise. During training and competition, our bodies can absorb around 60-90g of carbohydrate per hour, meaning that demand will outstrip the supply of energy. This shortfall is met by using your glycogen stores, which must be replenished post exercise so you are able to perform well in your next session. REGO Rapid Recovery Plus is tested under the Informed Sport Certification program. This approach involves testing every single batch of Science in Sport finished product which leaves the Company's factory, screened against the 2017 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list. Banned substances including steroids are tested to the level of 10 Nanograms per gram, and stimulants to 100 Nanograms per gram. Batches (sampled at the beginning, during and end of each product batch) receive the recognised and respected Informed Sport certificate and Science in Sport provides the documentation to athletes on request. Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAA’s) boost muscle growth, decrease muscle soreness, reduce fatigue and prevent muscle wasting. Recommended Usage This product is designed to be consumed within 30 minutes post-exercise and not mixed with milk as it will slow down the absorption rate. Directions for Use Add 50g (approx. 3 full scoops – scoop included) to 500ml of water in a shaker or bottle and mix well, ensuring the lid is firmly closed.
High5 Recovery Drink is the ultimate drink for after exercise and the Pro’s choice. The whey isolate used in Recovery is a high quality source of protein. Protein contributes to muscle growth and maintenance. High5 Recovery Drink also contains carbohydrate. After exercise, your muscles are often low in glycogen (carbohydrate). Consuming carbohydrates contributes to recovery of normal muscle function after strenuous exercise. Branched-Chain Amino Acids (BCAAs) boost muscle growth, decrease muscle soreness, reduce fatigue and prevent muscle wasting. Directions for Use Recovery Drink mixes easily with water or milk. Consume one serving of Protein Recovery in the first hour after hard exercise. You can also take another one or two servings later in the day or just before you got to bed. These neoprene Toe Cover Overshoes are an essential piece of kit for riding when the weather's beginning to turn fresh. The open design means you can apply the cover and remove it easily, boosting climate control on longer rides. The neoprene fabric stretches around the shoe and covers the front end, which is the most exposed area to wind chill. Most cycle shoes have venting to allow hot air out the Toe Cover Overshoe blocks these holes and adds a barrier to keep the feet warm and comfortable. The neoprene is sandwiched between two layers of nylon stretch fabric, this face fabric helps protect the neoprene from scuffs and also makes them easy to put on.
