For the new version of the Toe Thingy, Castelli have thought carefully about how to offer better protection to your precious and stylish footwear. As a result, the second iteration is that little bit longer to guard more of the foot, and it can be worn either on its own or between your shoe and shoe cover. The Toe Thingy 2 is designed to be practical and durable too. On the underside you’ll find a combination of a rugged sole with silicone prints, which makes it resistant to abrasions and provide improved grip. There’s also a hole for your cleats, so they won’t get in the way of your pedals either. Castelli really have thought of everything with this one.
The Castelli ‘Fast Feet’ project, using both CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing, has resulted in the slippery performance of the Fast Feet 2 TT Shoe Covers. These overshoes slip snugly over your cycling shoes to reduce drag and improve efficiency. The covers utilise a two-part design. The lower section is a smooth silicone to produce a streamlined profile across the foot. The tall upper portion uses slim grooves to help detach airflow over the leg to decrease drag.
