This handmade Gravel Grinder Pro folding tyre is designed for long rides over gravel roads. Thanks to the Puncture Protection System it is also suitable for a rougher everyday use. The flat tread in the middle keeps the rolling resistance low while the higher side knobs offer the needed cornering grip. The SuperPoly carcass has a dense carcass of 260 Threads per inch. Handmade Tubeless Ready In addition to bringing the amazing comfort and handling of handmade technology to tubeless clinchers, Challenge have produced these products in line with the evolved new ETRTO tubeless standards. A bead-to-bead inner coating gives added puncture protection to these new HTLR tires and greatly reduces any air pressure dissipation. Enhanced longevity has been gained with the addition of an aramid bead protection strip, to reduce rim chafing. Puncture Protection Strip The Puncture Protection System is a special fabric placed between a tyre’s tread and casing to increase resistance to punctures.
