Forget turning it up to 11, Campagnolo have turned their latest Chorus groupset up to 12! The Campagnolo Chorus 12-Speed Cassette is an integral part of the new group, providing a wider gear-range, slick shifting and smoother performance at a race-ready weight.Same width as 11-Speed cassettes no need for new wheels or freehubsTwo bigger sets of three machined from a single-block piece for lighter weight and better durabilityNew surface treatment increases durability and provides smoother shiftingWider gear-range and close steps between gears give you the best of both worldsLightweight at just 306g (11-29T)Key to the success of the latest 12-Speed Chorus groupset is the cassette. Offering a wider gear-range while keeping closer steps between the taller ratios, the Chorus 12-Speed Cassette gives you all the gears you need for climbing and descending. Despite adding in an additional gear over previous 11-speed cassettes, the 12-Speed Chorus cassette is no wider, allowing you to use your existing Campagnolo-compatible wheels. Durability is a key consideration for any cassette and Campagnolo have designed and built the Chorus 12-Speed Cassette to be as durable as possible. Starting with construction of the cassette, Campagnolo manufacture the two bigger sets of three from a machined single-block piece for lighter weight and better durability. Not only that, the cassette is stiffer as a result, helping improve shifting performance as well as decreasing the chance of the cassette flexing under load, leading to premature wear. To compliment this, the cassette features a new surface treatment that is hard-wearing and reduces friction. Again, this small detail reduces wear and improves shifting performance, with the chain gliding seamlessly between gears. Lightweight, durable and with incredible shifting performance, the Campagnolo Chorus 12-Speed Cassette is one of the centrepieces of the Chorus range for good reason!
Every sprocket tooth has been designed to achieve the maximum synchronization, shifting speed, and silent operation. The six larger sprockets have a double frame system for extreme torsional stiffness so that operating precision is maintained even during shifting under stress. The surface treatment of the 11 steel sprockets assures longer component life, maintaining the maximum long term performance.Warning: EPS Groupsets will not work with 11/29 ratio cassettes. The Campagnolo 11 range of cassettes offer 11 gears of fantastic shifting performance, honed by 80 years of metalworking and race-winning experience. When dealing with cassettes it is all a game of numbers and the Campagnolo 11 series has them all a wide range of gearing keeps allows you to dial in the drivetrain to the course ahead. These new Campagnolo cassettes are based on a design with one triplet and 8 single sprockets with aluminium spacers and will be compatible with the rest of the range. This cassette signals the introduction of not only a new, lower gearing cassette, but also a new range of cassettes which are labelled Campagnolo 11. Weight: 249g (approx.).

The Centaur sprocket tooth design reduces the level of stress on the chain, which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets; even when shifting across increments of 3 or 4 gears at a time.
The result is perfect synchronisation in traction and rapid shifting. Three cassette ratio's available.design.
Campagnolo lockrings, an often discussed and confusing subject, do they come with the cassette? Do they come with the wheel? Do you have to buy them separately? If you purchase any ratio cassette, the lockring is included. This lockring is specific for a 12T cog.
Painstaking work was carried out on the sprockets. The additional speed led Campagnolo to devising a new support structure for the last six sprockets in the two subsets. The form of the teeth is new and they have been treated to increase duration over time. Eleven sprockets that are even more efficient despite the reduction of the thicknesses? Campagnolo have succeeded. The teeth have been designed to optimize the speed and fluidity of shifting. This form reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets. The large pinions are divided into sets of three and are mounted on a new aluminium frame. Thanks to this, rigidity increases 180% and the individual sprockets are 70% more resistant to torsion.
