The Potenza 11™ front derailleur boasts an upper body that has a design nearly identical to that of the Super Record mechanical model complete with longer arm to ensure less effort required to derail to a larger gear. One of the only differences that can be immediately seen comes in the form of the newly developed one-piece steel cage with a similar shape to the Super Record version. Potenza 11™ is similar in design yet incorporates different materials to ensure derailing performance on par with Super Record.
The sprockets must be shaped appropriately for the drivetrain to work perfectly. Each sprocket on this Campagnolo 10 speed cassette has an indented ramp, called Ultra Drive (UD), to assist in upshifting. The Tooth profiles are also custom configured to help with downshifting. This TA X145 50 tooth outer chainring is compatible with 2015 Campagnolo 11 speed 4-arm chainset such as Super Record, Record and Chorus. Made from heat treated 7075 alloy, they are anodised Anthracite in colour and feature lazer engraved decals.
The teeth are cut in the traditional manner on a lathe which produces a much better and more accurate tooth form than pressing which is used by most chainring manufacturers.
