The design is derived directly from the 11-speed components with the oversized outer plate to provide greater rigidity to the entire system. The surface treatment protects it from corrosion and ensures that the Veloce(TM) rear derailleur maintains its performance over time.
The perfect coupling between central pin and pedal crank is ensured thanks to the particular geometry of the two components; this solution also makes it possible to eliminate the potential play between the different materials. To make the bottom bracket more efficient, they also worked on the inner part. Thanks to an elaborate sequence of thicknesses, they were able to obtain an incredibly light axle while offering an absolute response in terms of rigidity. Thanks to the studies conducted by the Campy Tech Lab engineers, material was removed in the zones that could be lightened but at the same time the points of maximum stress were strengthened. Only in this way was it possible to achieve such a high technical value. A careful working out of the dimensions made it possible to maintain the lateral measurements already defined with the "elder brother" Ultra Torque, thus guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and reducing the possibility of contact with the shoes.
Whether you need a replacement or need the extra length to remount your Athena EPS system under the Seat this is the cable for the job.
Specifically designed for the demands of modern road cycling, this square taper bottom bracket features a light alloy build for the best balance of stiffness and reliability without adding any excess grams to your road bike. Featuring a threaded design and weighing in at only 220g, this Campagnolo Chorus bottom bracket is a perfect choice of upgrade for smooth rotative performance alongside your crankset.
Painstaking work was carried out on the sprockets. The additional speed led Campagnolo to devising a new support structure for the last six sprockets in the two subsets. The form of the teeth is new and they have been treated to increase duration over time. Eleven sprockets that are even more efficient despite the reduction of the thicknesses? Campagnolo have succeeded. The teeth have been designed to optimize the speed and fluidity of shifting. This form reduces stress on the chain which ascends more easily onto the higher diameter sprockets. The large pinions are divided into sets of three and are mounted on a new aluminium frame. Thanks to this, rigidity increases 180% and the individual sprockets are 70% more resistant to torsion.
Genuine Campagnolo Ultrashift Ergo brake lever hoods available in two colours: Red, White. These brake lever hoods are compatible with the following Campagnolo groupsets. · Super Record 2009 - 2014 · Record 2009 - 2014 · Chorus 2009 - 2014 · Athena 2010 · Centaur 2009 - 2010 · Veloce 2009 - 2010 (only Ultra Shift)
This Campagnolo original component is an idea replacement for your worn or damaged 10 speed Chorus or Record Chainsets.
The Campagnolo Veloce shifters boast a more ergonomic EPS style downshifting lever thus making an already ergonomic and user-friendly Ergopower controls even more so. Complete transmission control from any position is now even more possible thanks to the EPS style layout of the lever on both right and left side controls. Thanks to the lower range of throw required to push the power-shift mechanism of the Veloce transmissions, this lower profile and easy-access shift lever was made possible.
The Campagnolo Chorus EPS groupset takes a great deal of its DNA from its mechanical counterpart as it represents a more accessible version of Campagnolo performance, quality and attention to detail but delivers it in the laser-like precision package of an EPS drivetrain. It's extremely powerful motors are capable of producing levels of torque without rival in electronic shifting which guarantee precise and effective shifting no matter the conditions or circumstances. Shifting even under heavy load is no problem for the Chorus EPS transmission and mud, grime and debris have met their match against such powerful motors. With an IP67 waterproof rating on the entire system rain gear is only necessary for the cyclist, not his groupset. The dérailleur is composed of a mechanical structure with dropout and a series of electronic parts. The outer Dérailleur Rod held in place by a double-finned pin that passes all the way through to increase rigidity. The System that links the dérailleur to the frame is made of aluminium co-pressed with the engineering polymer of the body of the dérailleur. This creates optimal solidity and rigidity ensuring that the dérailleur maintains a correct position with respect to the frame. The core of the dérailleur is composed of an electronic actuator; in turn composed of a gear motor with a built-in resolver that uses Magnetic Hall Sensor technology (as the sensor is not in contact it is not affected by the vibrations generated by the terrain, and is therefore always precise). The gear motor was developed in partnership with a Swiss company that produces electric motors used in missions to Mars. The actuator is also equipped with a ""cascade gearbox"" which allows movement to be transferred in an exact and rapid manner. AUTOMATIC CORRECTION: Compared to the traditional mechanical derailleur that could be adjusted with micro displacements made by acting on the levers manually, the EPS dérailleur is equipped with a very sophisticated electronic AUTOMATIC POSITION CORRECTION system. DTI: Digital Tech Intelligence is housed inside the Power Unit and it continuously monitors the signals that arrive from all the EPS components, thus managing their operation. WATERPROOF: In order to achieve the IP67 classification, all the electronic components of the EPS system underwent a series of tests, which proved their ability to function perfectly under one meter of water for at least 30 minutes.
In keeping with its philosophy and history, Campagnolo has gone even further, and created the triple crankset with the best ""U"" and ""Q"" factors in its class. This outstanding result offers tangible benefits to the rider: derailing speed and precision of a par with double drivetrains, and perfect hip-knee-foot alignment for maximum pedalling efficiency and maximum joint protection.
