Unlike any other fork axles on the market, these feature a unique double hex design. This includes the traditional 6mm that everyone is familiar with but with an added 8mm Allen key fitting as well. This Get out of Jail'' feature makes removal much easier if the 6mm gets chewed up, over tightened or not removed for a long time. We all know how much it sucks to miss a ride and this feature should help make sure that doesn't happen.Having an Allen key fitting instead of a QR also allows the use of a torque wrench so you can be sure your wheel is correctly tightened. As with anything Burgtec, it s those fine details that make all the difference. This Axle also comes with a grade 5 titanium pinch bolt and backing nut to finish things off. Clean, simple, and fast!Benefit from increased clearance without a lever in the way and getting wacked by trailside debris. The backsweep and upsweep help the bar to the ultimate feel once tried always loved. As used by the Santa Cruz Syndicate riders Greg Minnaar Loris Vergier and Luca Shaw. Finish your cockpit in style and add the bars to a Enduro stem Mk2 stem. Dirt 100 2018 “HIT THE SPOT IN TERMS OF FIT AND FEEL” 800mm wide. 9 degree back sweep. 5 degree upsweep. Suggested cut down marks. Weight 300g. Here is what IMB magazine had to say about our alloy enduro handlebars. 'With a 35mm clamp the Ride Wide Alloy Enduro Handlebars are stiff and as such give a direct feel. This kind of stiffness is ideal on a big burly bike with plenty of travel but those on shorter travel bikes or hardtails may appreciate the thinner 31.8mm bars which are also available. Strapped onto a long travel ebike these definitely felt like the ideal bar and stem combo for such duties and hold a line through rough terrain was markedly easier with the Burgtec set up. If you're planning on some wild riding then this kind of stiff setup can pay dividends. The classic back sweep will appeal to many riders and is very comfortable with options to keep most happy. This package easily adds some style performance and engineering class to any bike.'

Burgtec's first range of signature handlebars developed with yes you've guessed it! Josh Bryceland. Josh loved the sweep and rise of the Ride Wide Bars but asked us to make him something a bit higher. The Rat isn’t one of those guys that’s ‘crazy’ on setup but he knows what he wants. 38MM RISE: Back in 2018 Josh’s idea was for something more versatile that he could use on all his bikes. After testing various prototypes he finally narrowed it down to a 38mm rise bar the perfect sweet spot. The first material thought was Carbon but after getting to ride various Alloy prototypes he just got more comfortable on Alloy. So the 38mm “Ride High” was born. The same unsurpassed comfort and durability as all of the Ride Wide range but just a little Higher. The Rats set up is full 800mm in case you’re wondering! It has a good level of traction and manoeuvrability. The large platform gives you a good space to aim for and while those steel pins offer enough bite to keep you in check. Furthermore they don’t interfere with those last-minute foot repositioning moments. Throughout our time testing the composite Mk4 we rode then with various flat pedal shoes including Five Tens Shimano GR7’s and Giro Riddance and Bontrager Flatline shoes. Each combination complemented each other as well as Manchego cheese and a mature red wine or if you prefer chicken nuggets and a chocolate milkshake. The composite Penthouse Mk4 is a versatile pedal that works well in every environment trail and weather condition you can think of and came back asking for more.'
