Dan Paley was fed up of breaking plastic bar ends but didn't want the hassle of screw in ones. That's when he came up with the idea of the M-Cap, a push in bar end with a metal surround. The part that hits the ground is metal as is the part between the bars and bar end. The best of both worlds.
The Substance cranks from BSD. These cranks feature a 2.5 piece design which means the whole crank set can be tightened with just one 8mm bolt. The Arms are made from heat treated 4130 with a rectangle cross section for extra stiffness and a extra beefy pedal boss for strength with angled back for frame clearance. The Spindle is a heat treated, ultra hollow design with a 22mm diameter and 48 splines. Available in 165mm 170mm, or 175mm lengths in black or chrome. RHD and LHD compatible. BSD's Donnasqueak tyre is their best selling tyre, it's the Alex Donnachie signature built for grip and squeak. Alex Donnachie and BSD worked on the design of the tyre for a while and wanted to produce something with a simple, low profile tread and most importantly that mega squeak.
