Modern 25c Tyre Width for Grip and Fast Rolling The large 700x25c wheels offer great strength and are more than capable of withstanding the city roads with their potholes as well as gripping all year round with the added width of 25c. Shifter Style - 1x Gears The ergonomic shifter style remote lever is designed to go where your front shifter would normally sit and actuates from beneath the handlebar meaning that this kit is ideally suited for those using a 1x chain ring set up, without a front derailleur. Paddle Style - 2x/3x Gears The compact paddle style remote lever is designed to sit next to your front shifter and actuates from the top of the handlebar, allowing you to run your Ascend dropper seatpost when using a front derailleur and shifter.
The kit includes paddle lever, cable outer, cable inner, guide pipe with barrel adjust, cable end cap and cable barrel for post fitment. Once fitted, it offers you effortless control of your Brand-X dropper post. Please note: This lever is designed for use on drop handlebar bikes, (cyclocross and gravel bikes), and will not fit on the lever clamp area of an MTB handlebar.
Building on the success of the Ascend 01, Brand-X now offer a shorter drop 27.2mm diameter option. The 27.2mm diameter makes it an ideal option for CX, Gravel or Road riders who want to feel the benefit of a dropper. The post carries over the reliability and core qualities of the Ascend 01. Infinitely smooth adjustment and incredible value for money makes the Ascend CX the go to option for cylcocross riders. The Ascend Seatpost is only compatible with bikes that can use an internally routed dropper. (Please note that it cannot be converted to external cable actuated.)The seatpost is cable actuated at the bottom of the post via a linkage mechanism which eliminates cable pull/movement, to ensure consistent performance time and time again. The ergonomic paddle style remote lever is designed to be on either left or right hand side of your bars. The Brand-X Classic Bar End is 3D forged from one-piece of 6061-T6 Aluminium and features a gentle curve for a comfortable riding position. They can be set at any angle and will fit securely on all handlebars.
Stealth Finish Manufactured for strength, stiffness and durability, this light and strong seatpost has a black anodised finish for an understated and stealthy appearance. It also features incremental markings to help you set your saddle height easily.
