Box One 7075 Alloy Chainring bolt kits include five 8.5-mm front bolts, five 6-mm front bolts and five 5-mm rear nuts so they will fit just about any chainring/crank combination, including those with threaded holes. Please note the maximum recommended rider weight for these bolts is 120 pounds (8st 6oz).

Each unit features a custom CNC-machined alloy top cap in the shape of the Box logo with cut-outs to reduce weight. At the centre of the top cap is an anodised aluminium bolt that threads into a gold anodised aluminium expander plug. This expander eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1 1/8-inch steerer tubes—even carbon fibre steerer tubes. The top bearing cover is crafted from carbon fibre, which not only adds style but helps to shave weight. At the heart of the headset are two super-smooth, titanium-nitride coated, sealed, 45×45 bearings. The titanium coating results in a low friction coefficient, increased corrosion resistance and smoother rolling bearings. A split crown race makes installation and removal from forks super easy. Box 1.5-inch headsets are designed solely for tapered frames and forks, but also include an adapter which allows you to run a fork with a straight 1 1/8-inch steerer tube.
Box One stems are cold forged from the highest quality 6061-T6 aluminum available. Featuring an open skeletal design and a dual mid-bolt wedge mounting system, they are lightweight yet maintain a very high level of strength and stiffness. By removing the rear pinch bolts and moving the mounting bolts to the middle of the stem, Box managed to reduce the weight and size and eliminated a serious hazard to the rider’s knees. To ensure proper clamping force, the stem must be mounted on a fork with at least 40mm of the exposed steerer tube.
