K-Edge’s Wahoo Bolt Sport Mount is built for the boldest of cyclists with a CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminium construction which comes with a Lifetime Warranty because it’s built to last even over the most treacherous of terrains. In the event of a crash the mount comes with a co-polymer plastic insert which is designed to break in a crash to protect the tabs on the back of the computer’s body.
The clad steel/alloy/steel rotor construction of the Shimano RT86 rotor allows heat generated from braking to radiate quickly through the aluminium core achieving surface temperature drops of around 50 degrees C. When used with Ice-Tec pads surface temperatures on the Shimano XT 160mm rotor can drop from around 400 to 300 degrees C, this provides great improvements in performance all around.
