Ragley has fitted it with a 150mm-travel RockShox Lyrik RC suspension fork, a Shimano SLX/XT 12-speed groupset and Nukeproof's Horizon V2 wheelset to make this edition of the Big Wig a versatile, all-terrain hardtail race machine. The Big AL is the "big brother" to the Ragley Marley, with many of the same features that made it such a success. It has also been upgraded with Marzocchi Z2 Rail suspension forks for responsive handling and Shimano Deore M5100 11-Speed groupset with SRAM DB8 hydraulic disc brakes for precise shifting and powerful all-weather braking performance. The Big AL is the 29” counterpart to the Marley; designed as a fun all-rounder with the same performance and value that made its smaller-wheeled sibling a multiple test winner. The Big AL 1.0 takes all that’s great about the 2.0 but upgrades the spec: The addition of the group test winning Brand-X Ascend dropper plus the upgraded 11-speed Deore groupset and SRAM DB8 brakes.
