So when designing our first full range of junior bikes, Boardman have put Forwards, Faster, Further on each bike to keep the childlike joy and freedom of pushing the boundaries on a bike at the front of our minds.The JNR range comprises six models, each with the goal of getting kids outside, cycling and exploring whilst supporting their developmental progression. From those first freewheeling forward movements on the 12" balance bike to the pride of mastering pedalling and going faster than before on the 20", to a family adventure venturing further on the 26", we've carefully considered every aspect of each bike's fit and function. Function hasn't come at the expense of form though, hidden welds and premium metallic paint finishes help the bikes to look as good as they ride.Our goal is to ensure that the simple act (after some practice) of riding a Boardman JNR is as fun and empowering as possible. If they aren't already, cycling confidence and skills will soon be second nature on the JNR 26". Cycling and the bike will be a way to open up the world further still, a slice of independence, a way to connect with friends (in the real world), get to and from places under their own power, to school and back or just a way to burn off some of that boundless energy. The JNR 26" is the culmination of our flat bar junior range. Sleek, lightweight and confidence-inspiring, yet practical and versatile. Powerful cable disc brakes complement the fast and predictable handling of the lightweight aluminium frame, which benefits from a rear rack and mudguard mounts front and rear. The JNR 26" is a premium adult bike, just in a smaller size.

The MTX 8.8 W Hybrid Bike is the ideal do-everything bike for those who are looking to take on both rough roads and light trails. Puncture-protected 35mm tyres balance low rolling resistance with a plush ride and offer enough grip for light off-roading too. Our new one-piece integrated handlebar and stem adds a clean aesthetic to the look and feel, while the ergonomic grips help to reduce numbness and long ride discomfort.The HYB 8.9 is our highest specification hybrid in the range, using the same triple-butted 6061 X7 Aluminium frame and C7 Carbon fork as the 8.8, but offering upgraded gearing, brakes, saddle and tyres.If high speeds both up and downhill are your priority, the HYB 8.9 is the bike to pick.
