Lenses The lenses for the Speedcoupe have been designed by Christine Dalloz who is a world leading expert on vision technology. The Speedcoupe’s lenses are therefore high quality with premium vision quality. The lenses protect against 100 percent of UV light rays which have been proven to lead to eye damage after long term exposure. The lenses are dual with an eight base design that is decentred to provide a larger peripheral field of vision. Surrounding the lenses are special air scoops that improve ventilation to the face and lens which ensures that the glasses don’t cloud up even when you’re at your most active and conditions become humid. Frame The frame has been designed with a wrap-around shape with temple arm scoops that provide a secure fit. The temple arms and nose pad are covered in megol rubber which also adds stabilisation by providing a firm grip to the face even in moist conditions. The interior of the frame has been coated in an anti-reflective treatment that stops any excess glares getting in your eyes from multiple different angles.
Lens The Speedtrap comes with a large singular lens that provides a wide peripheral view without any limits. This gives you a better field of vision and also provides you with a larger area of protection. The lens comes with a polycarbonate construction which is high impact resistant and also comes with 100 percent protection against UV rays which have been proven to cause eye damage due to long exposure. The lenses come with a hydroilo treatment which is a scratch resistant coating that keeps your vision clearer for longer. Frame The frame is constructed from Grilamid which is a material characterised for its huge level of flexibility and durability. The fit of the frame comes fully adjustable for a secure fit with the temple tips and nose pad being adjustable. The temple tips and nose pads are also coated in thermoplastic elastomer which is a soft, comfortable rubber material that is resistant to water which means that the glasses will stay gripped to your face and not slide about when conditions become humid.
