The new RWS axle system from DT Swiss revolutionises the way wheels are attached by doing away with the traditional cam system. With DT RWS the axle and lever are joined and clamping force is applied simply by turning the lever. The lever can be easily moved or re-positioned simply by lifting the lever away from the bike and rotating to the position required. The RWS axle provides safe and easy operation with up to 50% more clamping force than conventional quick release systems. Compatible with all disc brakes, the clamping force is not influenced by heat build up. No plastic or synthetic parts are used in load bearing areas, the multi-position lever is made from carbon reinforced resin and connected to an aluminium axle.Axle has 1.0mm thread pitch and non-removable QR lever.

Unlike the standard bolt-thru axle, this version has an easy to use solid twist lever. There's no need to twist and back off to get a clamping mechanism working, simply twist the lever until your wheel is solidly locked in place. The lever sits on splines and can engaged/disengaged to set the lever in your desired position once tightened in place. Available in a range of sizes, Brand-X has produced these twist lever thru-axles in the most commonly seen lengths and thread pitches: Option Type Hub Size Length Thread Length Thread Pitch Weight 1 E-Thru 12x100mm 125mm 17mm M12x1.5 60g 2 E-Thru 12x142mm 166mm 17mm M12x1.5 73g 3 E-Thru 12x142mm 170mm 17mm M12x1.5 75g 4 SRAM 12x142mm 172mm 20mm M12x1.75 70g 5 SRAM 12x148mm 180mm 20mm M12x1.75 78g 6 RockShox 15x100mm 146mm 11mm M15x1.5 92g 7 RockShox 15x110mm 158mm 11mm M15x1.5 98g 8 Fox Kabolt 15x100mm 146mm 13mm M14x1.5 91g 9 Fox Kabolt 15x110mm 156mm 13mm M14x1.5 96g (*We recommend measuring the length of your existing thru axle before ordering) Compatibility Notes: Option 1 is designed for solid road/gravel/cyclocross forks that use the Shimano E-Thru 12x100mm axle standard with an M12x1.5 thread pitch. The AV-1 allows you to hold an axle in place using a bench vise, so it will not turn while work is done on the hub.
Durability, reliability and performance are qualities assured by Hope design; they are able to handle the growing demands of modern mountain bike riding, trails and obstacles. They are also very easy to service, require no proprietary tools, making maintenance simple.
Note: Axles must be removed before mounting these adaptors.
The set comes with both the left and right-hand axles, with the left axle tightening in an anti-clockwise fashion and the right one fastening in a clockwise direction.
There aren’t many times a replacement part actually improves your bike but put one on your bike and you’ll wonder why you didn’t install a NINJA sooner. The bearings are housed in an alloy shell and wrapped with plastic and fibre. This fusion of the three materials provides the bearings a solid platform to sit on and extends their lives. A lot of people would be satisfied with this, but they went even further by extending the alloy shell so the right and left sides lock together. This locks the frame, cranks and bottom bracket together and provides unparalleled stiffness.
Suitable for use with 12mm thru-axles, it ensures a firm and reliable attachment for a confidence-instilling performance.
This lightweight pair of titanium axles weight 12% less than your standard pair of CrMo axles, giving you a responsiveness boost to let your pedals feel as good as new.
