Named after a famous redwood-covered climb in Santa Cruz, California, the Praxis Works Zayante Carbon M30 DM crankset is the ultimate blend of lightweight and stiffness, with rigid carbon arms and versatile chainring system, this is the ultimate carbon crankset for road, gravel or CX use.Lightweight carbon arms are incredibly stiff for efficient power transferM30 spindle is compatible with BSA, BB86, 386EVO, BB30, PF30, T47, BBRight & OSBB bottom bracket shells BB's sold separately10/11spd LevaTime X-Ring chainrings are cold forged for supreme shift quality & durabilityVersatile modular design can accept 2x or 1x DM chainringsLightweight at just 615g (172.5mm w/ 50/34T Chainrings)Where most cranksets can only be fitted with a small selection of chainrings, the Zayante Carbon is designed with versatility in mind. While equipped with 2x chainrings as standard, the direct mount design can easily be swapped out for a 1x chainring or another 2x combination in a different ratio. Praxis wants you to have control. Add in to this compatibility with pretty much any bottom bracket shell on the market when used with the appropriate bottom bracket, and you have an incredibly versatile crankset that is happy to grace lightweight carbon race bikes or tough gravel bikes. The crank arms themselves are carbon, which gives them immense strength and stiffness, so you can be sure every watt of power your legs can muster isn't wasted with flex. Despite this, the crankset is extremely light at just 615g. The M30 spindle also helps to keep weight low and stiffness high.Whereas most chainrings are stamped or machined pieces of aluminium, the Zayante Carbon's X-Ring chainrings are cold forged from 7075 T6 aluminium and then hard anodised. This unique method creates chainrings that are just as light, but are much, much harder wearing and provide slicker shifting for longer. Further improving the shifting performance is Praxis Works LevaTime Shifting Technology. LevaTime Shifting boasts a series of synchronised ramps and strategically placed shift pins to help deliver perfecting every time. Lightweight, stiff, smooth shifting and extremely versatile, the Praxis Works Zayante Carbon M30 DM crankset is perfect for riders who want maximum performance without breaking the bank.

The Northern California Coast and Santa Cruz Mountains are steeped in road riding history. To honour it, Praxis Works named its new top-level crank Zayante, after the fabled redwood-covered climb that's a secret training ground for many local pros. The Zayante Carbon is the ultimate marriage of lightness, stiffness and versatility. Carbon Fibre Road Chainset Made exclusively in Praxis Works' own carbon lab, the Zayante is a homegrown product from start to finish. From initial napkin sketches, to rapid prototyping, revision after revision, exhaustive testing and certification for production. Developed and made in-house with the brand's hybrid "RTM+Filimant Winding" manufacturing methods, everything is done by a dedicated team. LevaTime X-Spider and X-Rings With its elegant and shapely carbon arms the Zayante is in a class of its own. This past year Praxis Works went further and updated it with its LevaTime X-Spider and X-rings. Now weighing in at a feathery 620 grams the Zayante Carbon has improved on its already solid reputation as the go-to crank carbon crank for riders globally. Please note: A bottom bracket is not included with this chainset but is available separately. This chainset is compatible with a Praxis Works M30 BB86 bottom bracket. Praxis M30 bottom brackets have a 30mm Drive and a 28mm NonDrive Bearing. These are specifically made for use with Praxis M30 spindle cranks. Deep in the hills of Santa Cruz, cyclists are met by a nasty, four-mile, 1800 ft. climb named Alba Road. This respected ascent was the inspiration for the Praxis Works Alba road chainset. With its shapely forged-alloy arms, M24 alloy spindle, LevaTime II X-Spider and chainring, the Alba is ready for anything. LevaTime X-Spider and Chainring This 1x10/11 speed chainset features a LevaTime II (LT2) X-Spider and chainring that's the product of years of relentless testing and tweaking. This all new LT2 X-Spider is even stiffer than the original generation X-Spider. With a new forging design to support the new LT2 5mm plate big rings, this direct mount model keeps things flex-free when it’s time to put the power down. One Shot Forging At Praxis Works, the primary reason it forges its chainring is that it allows them to create dramatically shaped teeth and ramping surfaces. The brand's “One Shot” forging process allows it to make these shapes, and at the same time, create a harder and tougher ring than the competition’s machined rings. Imagine for a second, you have a big hammer and you are hitting a cold block of metal trying to shape it. Now, imagine the hammer is the size of a car and when you swing that hammer you’ve got hundreds to thousands of tons of pressure behind it. It’s a very intense and difficult process that requires a great deal of tooling know-how. This manufacturing process happens to be the brand's specialty. M24 Bottom Bracket This chainset comes complete with a press fit M24/GxP bottom bracket for installing a M24/GxP spindle crank into a BB86 Road or BB90/BB92 MTN Frame. Praxis M24 bottom brackets have a 24mm Drive and a 22mm NonDrive Bearing. These are specifically made for use with Praxis M24 spindle cranks or SRAM GxP spindle cranks. The Axis MK9 front cycle light offers a maximum output of 1300 lumens from its XHP35.2 LED, the Axis MK9 illuminates the route ahead with a strong, narrow beam and features Optimised Mode Selector technology to adapt the strength of the shine to suit the light levels and conditions of your journey. Innovative and Intuitive Front Bike Light Housed within an anodised aluminium casing, this excellent Exposure model stays highly durable for year-round use and comes with an IP65 water-resistance rating for enhanced protection. The unit also features Intelligent Thermal Management which stops the light from overheating. Rounding out this impressive illuminator is TAP technology which lets you change modes with a simple tap of the light or your helmet (when mounted to your headwear). TAP Easy and Fast Light Control Quickly switch between modes on helmet lights by tapping either the body of the light or the helmet without needing to locate the function button for fast control to match the pace of the trail. Three sensitivities allow greater versatility. When switchbacks need nailing, and narrow lines require a searching beam, the Axis has a focused 1300 lumens beam for throwing light far down the trail. TAP technology offers ease of control without taking concentration away from the route ahead for swift mode change. Optimised Mode Selector (OMS) Various programs in the lights can easily be selected to offer a choice of run times and modes so you can find the right one for your ride, be it an all-night adventure or an intense blast. Intelligent Thermal Management (ITM) Patented circuitry within the light will reduce power to the LEDs, if they go beyond the optimum temperature, keeping the light as efficiently as possible to maximise output and battery capacity. Smart Port Technology Plus (SPT+) Smart Port+ enables the charge port to accept additional accessories such as rear lights, remote switches, Support Cells and use your light as a power bank to charge USB devices. Fast Charging Improved chargers have decreased charge time significantly from previous models of lights. Cable Free Design (CFD) The battery is housed within the body of the light so no cables or separate battery units are giving a neat solution with fewer opportunities for water ingress, mounting difficulties and crash damage. Combined with the renowned quick-release handlebar bracket lights are easy and quick to mount with rock solid attachment. Fuel Gauge The remaining runtime of the light system is easily monitored at a glance so you’re not caught out. The colour feedback is also used for mode selection, before defaulting back to the runtime.
