The Presta Tubeless Valves are very simple to use and sit easily in all Presta valve type rims, and thanks to the Pressure Release Valve Stem Nut, which prevents the build-up of pressure in the rim cavity, the threat of accidental rim damage during inflation is eliminated. Please note: The Pressure Release Valve Stem Nuts have been designed to allow the air to escape if it breaches the tubeless tape, if you notice air escaping through the valve, your tubeless tape has not been correctly installed.
When the tubeless seal between the tyre’s air chamber and the rim’s cavity is breached, air will pass through and pressure will build up in the inner chamber, the Pressure Release Valve Stem Nut gives the air an escape route preventing damage to your rim. When installed, air escaping from the valve stem, indicates a compromised tubeless seal. Recommended not only for all Prime tubeless wheels but for all other tubeless wheels.
