  • Saving you £57

Ready for hitting your favourite trails, this MTB hydraulic disc brake features a robust aluminium lever blade that provides durable and dependable braking operation on the toughest of rides. SRAM has also equipped it with a lightweight four-piston S4 caliper that uses four machined and moly-coated aluminium pistons to achieve consistent rollback and easy setup. In addition, its calipers heat shield insulation, Bleeding Edge porting and adaptor technology delivers easier bleeds. Coming kitted out with steel-backed organic brake pads, this model offers powerful braking modulation and control as you navigate your way around the mountain. Adjustable MTB Hydraulic Disc Brake G2 RSC is the half-ton pickup truck of the mountain bike brake world — dependable, go anywhere, do anything, plenty of power when you need it, and all of the features you need. The G2 RSC is based on the SRAM Code design, so it puts Code-like power and modulation into a mini-Code package. And of course, the signature Guide lever-feel and contact-point adjustability ensure that this brake works great for every rider. The G2 RSC presents a rider-controlled offering with an alloy blade, lever pivot bushings, stainless steel hardware. S4 Lightweight 4-Piston Caliper The all new S4 Caliper features four Machined and Moly-coated aluminium pistons for consistent rollback and easy set-up, Heat shield insulation and Bleeding Edge porting and adapter technology for easy bleeds. SwingLink Squeeze a SRAM brake lever and you notice it immediately. Less deadband. More positive engagement. A new cam system requires less lever throw to push the pads toward the rotor. That’s great, but there’s more to perfect braking performance than just power. You need control. Many brake systems minimize deadband—but at the cost of modulation. SwingLink solves that with its special cam shape. When the pads contact the rotor, the leverage rate curve is flat and smooth, avoiding that “on/off” brake feel. It’s the perfect balance of power and precision. - Useful reach and contact point adjustments for every type of rider. SRAM design its brakes to give each individual rider distinct control of their ride. - Added stiffness in the caliper and a new pad compound that offers more bite and really delivers the Mini-Code feel. - Engineered for easy installation. Please Note: This brake is designed for use with a Matchmaker clamp (combined with shifter) so does not come with its own bar clamp. These bar clamps are sold separately. Technologies: Contact Point Adjustment: Some people like the instantaneous power of a short lever throw. Others prefer the feel of a longer throw. With Contact Point Adjust, you can pick the position you want your fingers to be in when your brakes are engaged. It’s a quick and easy way to customize the feel of your brakes without having to move the pads. It’s also a way to balance both brake levers to feel exactly the same. Power Reserve Geometry: Your fingers pull in a straight line, but brake levers move in an arc. Bottom line: Your fingers typically want to slip off the ends of the levers as you pull. We designed all of our brakes with the industry's lowest X Factor (that's the distance from the center of the handlebar to the center of the lever's pivot). That reduces the lever's inward travel, creating an arc that's closer to your fingers' natural motion and more power is delivered to the brake lever. And, the cool part is, every SRAM and Avid brake lever has it. Timing Port Closure: A hydraulic brake’s timing port is the connection between the reservoir and the lever cylinder bore. When the lever is squeezed, a cup seal passes this area and closes the port, which pressurizes the system. SRAM’s timing port closure system features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish producing dependable braking power and consistency.

Match this with MatchMaker for the cleanest looking bar set-up, plus the ease of use with the brand's Bleeding Edge drip-free bleed port and you have a smart budget minded brake that keeps you in control. S4 Lightweight 4 Piston Caliper The all new S4 Caliper features four Machined and Moly-coated aluminium pistons for consistent rollback and easy set-up, Heat shield insulation and Bleeding Edge porting and adapter technology for easy bleeds. Matchmaker Compatible Save weight and clutter on the bar with MatchMaker. This system holds SRAM levers, a number of SRAM triggers and RockShox PushLoc controls – all with one tidy, light clamp. Bleeding Edge Bleeding Edge technology makes bleeding brakes quick and simple. An updated fluid path and bleed porting make it easier to push fluid through the caliper. A dedicated bleed adapter plugs into the bleed port and seals the system to minimise air contamination and fluid loss. Heat Shield The stainless-steel heat shields break the thermal connection between the pad and caliper body, reducing caliper fluid temperature by about 20C even in the most extreme testing conditions.

Ideal for Cross-Country and trail use, it benefits from technology such as an expandable bladder and TPC Plus™. Technology Highlight(s): TPC™ Plus, DirectLink™ Pad/Holder: Top-loading Intended Use: XC/Trail Tri-Align Caliper Positioning System: No Tool-Free Pad Replacement: Yes Stainless Hardware: Yes Technologies: DirectLink™: SRAM’s DirectLink™ lever design produces a solid, positive feel the second you squeeze the lever to engage the brake. It offers a no-nonsense solution to give you precise control. PiggyBack™ Reservoir: The brake fluid reservoir on SRAM’s latest lever design is optimised for both performance and ease of use. The PiggyBack Reservoir offers a simple, failsafe way to manage brake fluid, and also allows for ambidextrous lever placement-so you can switch your levers on the handlebar and run them moto style without hassle. Expandable Bladder: SRAM’s new brake lever design includes a reshaped bladder that helps regulate and reduce air bubbles. The bladder is specifically shaped to evacuate air from the lever and push the fluid exactly where it’s needed. The result is improved back-pressure relief, which produces dependable braking power and consistency. TPC Plus™ (Timing Port Closure): A hydraulic brake’s timing port is the connection between the reservoir and the master cylinder bore. When the lever is squeezed, a cup seal passes this area and closes the port to pressurise the system. SRAM’s new timing port closure system, called TPC Plus, features durable seals and an ultra-smooth cylinder bore finish producing dependable braking power and consistency. DOT 5.1™: Heat is an enemy of any brake system, so advancements in heat management mean advancements in your ride. SRAM found that DOT 5.1 takes almost three times longer to boil than DOT 4, thus allowing flawless, fade-free performance in even more extreme conditions.
