WiFLi™ WiFLi = Wider - Faster - Lighter SRAM's WiFLi Technology is based on the compact 2 x 10 or 11 - two front chainrings and 10 or 11 gears in the rear - design inherent in SRAM RED 22, Force 22, Rival 22 and Apex, which delivers a wider range of gears, up to 11-32, than your standard triple, faster shifts through two chainrings and every gear on the rear cassette, and with significant weight saving. This SRAM PC 1091R 10 speed chain features a hollow pin construction that provides smooth, precise shifting and weight savings without sacrificing strength and durability. The PC-1091 chain offers more heavily chamfered outer plates for improved shifting and quieter running. Other advancements include an inner plate finish plus chrome hardened pin construction, both for longer chain life. Technologies: HollowPin (HP): We employ HollowPin construction on all SRAM top of the line PowerChains. HP yields plate retention strength, front and rear shifting efficiency, and low weight benchmarks unreachable in solid pin chain applications. PowerLock (PL): SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool free, sure and consistent way to connect 10-speed chains. While PL does not require special tools for install, the especially tight tolerances of 10 Speed drive trains mandated that each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.
