The Ardent doesn't forget the racer with large block-style side knobs offering numerous edges for high-speed cornering. The centre tread, while ideal for braking and accelerating traction, also features ramped knobs to minimize rolling resistance. With a wide variety of size offerings, the Ardent captures every mountain rider's needs. Technologies: Dual Compound Two compounds are used within the tread of select tyres to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip. EXO Protection Technology An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected. Choose EXO Protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chance of sidewall cuts and abrasions is high. TR (Tubeless Ready) Technology Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run at lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provide the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without the weight penalty. Their TR tyres use a standard casing and require the use of a liquid sealant in order to make them airtight. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tyres are the only Maxxis tyres approved for use with liquid sealants.
The Park Tool BB press removes and install the bearings and bearing units used in BB86, BB92, Shimano Press Fit, SRAM Press Fit GXP, Race Face Press Fit and other press fit bottom bracket systems using the nominal 24mm spindle. The Park Tool bb tool includes a bearing removal tool, which slides through and expands behind the bearing (like a head cup remover) so it can be tapped out with a hammer. The BBT-90.3 also includes two installation bushings (#669). Use the bushing in conjunction with an HHP-2 or HHP-3 Bearing Cup Press (sold separately) to press the bearings into the frame. POWERbreathe uses the basic principles of resistance training. Within a few days of using this drug-free, easy-to-use hand-held device, your breathing muscles will feel stronger and within 3-weeks you’ll feel less breathless. Within 4 weeks activities, exercise and sports will feel easier. Use and Care: POWERbreathe uses the basic principles of resistance training. Just as you might use weights to strengthen your arm muscles, breathing in through POWERbreathe against the medium, variable resistance makes your breathing muscles work harder - thereby increasing their strength and endurance. Simply put the nose-clip on so that it pushes your nostrils together and then breathe in through the POWERbreathe (use a little extra effort than you would to breathe normally), and the device will do the rest. Improvement in breathing efficiency can be seen in as little as 4-weeks. Comes with full instructions. Laboratory Proven Training Regimen: Twice a day simply breathe 30 times through the device against the adjustable resistance. It takes less than 5-minutes. As your breathing muscle strength improves, simply adjust and increase the resistance as you would with any other form of exercise. Within a few days your inspiratory muscles will feel stronger and within 3-weeks you’ll feel less breathless. Within 4 weeks activities, exercise and sports will feel easier. Inspiratory muscle training (breathing muscle training), such as training with POWERbreathe, is not recommended for patients with a history of spontaneous pneumothorax (a collapsed lung that was not due to traumatic injury e.g. broken rib), as it may lead to a recurrence of the condition. Following a traumatic pneumothorax and/or broken rib, POWERbreathe should not be used prior to full recovery. Inspiratory muscle training is not suitable for asthma patients who have low symptom perception and who suffer from frequent sever exacerbations. Inspiratory muscle training is not suitable for anyone who has recently experienced a perforated eardrum. Anyone who is under the age of 16 should only use POWERbreathe with supervision from an adult.
The wide shoulder knobs on the Maxxis Minion DHR II 29 were borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF and then beefed up to make it ideal for rear wheel use. The centre tread section, however, is heavily ramped and sipped and provides extremely fast rolling prowess and braking traction. With the central fast rolling section and beefed up side knobs, you have a tread pattern that enables extreme speed and riding stability across the roughest and unforgiving of trail conditions. The DHR is truly in a league of its own. Technologies: Dual Compound: Two compounds used within the tread of select tyres to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip. TR (Tubeless Ready) Technology: Tubeless tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready tyres are the only Maxxis tyres approved for use with liquid sealants. EXO Protection Technology: An extremely cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tyres. The LifeLine Hybrid CO2 mini pump provides the speed and convenience of a CO2 inflator with the reliability of a manual pump. With a compact footprint, it fits easily into a seatbag or ruck sack pocket alongside spare tubes and CO2 cartridges. When space to carry cartridges is at a premium, simply inflate the tyre to a reasonable pressure using the manual mode and switch to the CO2 mode to reach your desired pressure, leaving pressure in the canister for subsequent puncture repairs or tyre pressure adjustments.
Replacement precision CNC machined chainrings for either Shimano or Campagnolo systems.
With it's in-mould outer and shock absorbing polystyrene inner shell, the Eldar Youth Helmet offers complete protection in the event that young riders take a fall. Increased coverage across the back of the head means they're covered no matter which way they fall too. The Eldar also benefits from having the in-mould polycarbonate wrapped further around the eps liner making it tough and durable, just what is needed for a life lived riding the dirt. When they're nailing drops and berms young riders don't want their Eldar Helmet to move, which, thanks to the Safe-T Twist 2 fit system, it's not going to do. This system gives easy one-handed adjustment via a large dial and the 360-degree adjustable belt provides a solid fit across the whole head. Inside, the Gel front pad and Coolmax anti-allergenic interior padding provide incredible comfort for long trail-riding days, and they're hand-washable too so can always be kept fresh. Last, but by no means least, a detachable visor keeps the sun out of the eyes and will fend off trailside overgrowth and low hanging branches. The visor is colour-matched to the rest of the helmet so you also get maximum trail-riding style points too.
The Echo Helmet may be great value but there's still a stack of features to keep you protected as you push tyre grip to the limits (which may involve a few ground to body interfaces along the way). The In-Mould external construction combines with a shock-absorbing polystyrene inner shell and is the same as seen on MET's higher priced models, and with increased coverage around the back of the head, you'll be fully covered should you take a tumble. To lock the helmet securely in place you'll find the Safe-T Mid Fit System is remarkably easy to use and gives 360 degrees of hold and adjustment. Even over the roughest of terrain, this helmet isn't going to move. For all-day comfort MET use Coolmax anti-allergenic interior padding that ensures you don't get hot and sweaty and it's all washable too, for long-term freshness. For those of you who are looking to dip a toe in the Enduro scene then the Echo is up to scratch too. Anti-fog inlets help to keep your goggles or sunglasses clear for full visibility at all times, making picking lines a cinch and the outer shell is shaped with a lip to keep your goggle strap in place Last, but by no means least, a detachable visor keeps the sun out of the eyes and will fend off trailside overgrowth and low hanging branches. The visor is colour-matched to the rest of the helmet so you also get maximum trail-riding style points too.
