The gorgeous CNC machined hubs feature larger diameter flanges which improve stiffness on larger diameter 27.5 & 29 inch wheels, making for a stronger wheel and a better ride under hard cornering. The internals use Hope's legendarily reliable stainless steel sealed cartridge bearings teamed with a lightweight aluminium axle to offer supreme durability while keeping the overall weight low. The freehub is a new design for the Pro 4 with a 4 pawl ratchet and 44 tooth engagement the hubs have a low 8.2 degrees of engagement, so you can rest assured as soon as you stamp on the pedals all of your effort and power is seamlessly transferred into forward motion and will continue to do so for years to come. So a somewhat lighter and more breathable Gabba became the Perfetto Light. With the fourth generation, we've also changed the name from Perfetto Light to Perfetto RoS 2 Wind Jersey. And it has become a staple in our autumn and spring wardrobes because it's so useful in so many situations ... which makes it very hard to define. In one sense it's a warmer vest, since it has the same construction as the Perfetto RoS 2 Vest but with short sleeves. In another sense it's a less warm Gabba. In another sense it's a jersey with front wind protection. Regardless of how YOU define it, you'll appreciate how it gives the right amount of protection on cool days while maintaining a high level of breathability. It makes you feel warm and protected, yet offers almost the same lightness and freedom of movement as a summer jersey. For mild days, we'll use it as a jersey over a light base layer with Seamless arm warmers. For rides in cooler or changeable conditions, we'll layer it over a jersey, with either Seamless or Nano Flex arm warmers. The 2 part of the name refers to the updates to the latest version, including a YKK® Vislon® zipper with both top and bottom openings for more adjustable ventilation. The reflectivity on the back is more visible, the three pockets hold more gear, and the extended tail has been reduced to make the piece more packable.
