Hydration is key in all disciplines but is often overlooked in open water due to the impracticalities. The Zone3 Swim Safety Buoy/Hydration Control allows you access to hydration during long swims. The body of the tow buoy is inflated to form a doughnut shape with a pocket on top and a reservoir can sit neatly into the pocket with an extension hose and bite valve for drinking. The adjustable dual belt design attaches securely around the swimmer's waist and the leash ensures that the product remains outside of one's stroke range whilst swimming. The buoy is recommended to all open water swimmers who want to stay hydrated during a swim, or anyone who wants extra visibility when swimming in the open water.
The hub shell is CNC machined in Barnoldswick, England from a single forged billet of 2014-T6 aluminium and uses a 7075 aluminium cassette body. Both these are now machined to allow fitting of the new generation of 11 speed cassettes from Shimano, but still allow for use of 9 and 10 speed Shimano and Sram cassettes by means of a removable spacer. Hubs are also available to suit Campagnolo 9, 10 and 11 speed cassettes. The hub is also fitted with our new 40 tooth ratchet with 4 pawl engagement, giving a quick, dependable drive.
