Renthal Apex 35 StemThe Renthal Apex stem is a 31.8mm stem with all the quality of a 35mm stem. With the strength matched to the 31.8mm equivalent, you may think that the the 35mm diameter package would weigh far more than the average of 7g extra. This 35mm stem is also as rigid and durable as a 31.8mm stem. The Apex balances the need for a strong and durable 35mm stem without compromising its weight. This all-new Renthal Apex stem covers all sectors of mountain bike. Light enough for XC racing, stiff and strong enough for a 780mm handlebar.The Renthal Apex stem features their unique new clamping system. This allows much of the stem body material to be removed, whilst retaining the strength and stiffness demanded by modern, wide handlebars. The clamps are inserted over the small diameter section of the handlebar and slid into the centre, giving a 240deg wrap of the handlebar.The Renthal Apex construction comprises a fully CNC machined 2014 aluminium body and 7075 aluminium clamps.
