Alé Winter BibknickersAlé's Winter Bibknickers are ideally suited for those cycling days where it's not yet cold enough for full-length tights but extra protection is welcome over the thighs and knees, keeping muscles warm and supple. Cooler weather and speedy training rides often mean full winter tights can feel too warm and too cumbersome but with the 3/4 length of the Winter Bibknickers you have the ideal balance of insulation and breathability for all-day comfort. Firstly, the Superroubaix Carbon features a brushed inner face, designed to trap pockets of air, creating a very effective barrier against the cold. Carbon filaments within the fabric then contribute to comfort thanks to their dissipative effect against electrostatic charges released into the atmosphere. Next, Thermo Garzato microfibre is used where a higher level of breathability is paramount and with it's DWR finish it also repels dirt and light rain for greater comfort in damp, changeable weather.The Ale 4HF seat pad offers luxurious comfort when you're legs are screaming with the effort of a tough training session. It's constructed from elastic micro-fibre with padding strategically positioned in the contact points and features a central relief channel to avoid stress on nerve endings. For the best comfort and support high-density 8mm deep 90 kg/cm2 padding is used where it's most needed in the ischiadic and perineal zones.
