Cinelli Superstar Caliper FramesetThe Superstar Caliper Frameset features a carbon frame and fork and is designed and engineered for long-distance tour race events and endurance cycling sessions. Cinelli has optimised its performance to ensure it accelerates efficiently, handles with sensational agility and control while also offering all-day riding comfort. This frameset has a tapered fork steerer for greater stability and is compatible with full internal Shimano Di2/Campagnolo internal electronic drivetrains and caliper rim brakes.Strong and Lightweight Carbon Frame and ForkThe Superstar endurance bike is Cinelli's cutting-edge carbon fibre re-interpretation of the mythical Italian stage-racing bicycle that is the brand's heritage and DNA. The Superstar not only adheres to a traditional Italian racing geometry (72.5-degree headtube and 407mm chainstays) but is also characterised by the forms of the frame, to allow the greatest precision and customisation of the lay-up of different grades of carbon in the construction process. For example, see how the tangent lines joining the top and down tubes to the head tube allow for the carbon fibre to remain completely straight thus offering the maximum weight-to-stiffness ratio.Enhanced Geometry for Greater Stability and ControlThe proprietary bowed top tube, whose form allows for a controlled deformation of the top tube headtube when the frame is subject to strong vertical or horizontal forces such as potholes, poorly surfaced roads etc. The controlled deformation results above all in a head tube that remains 8 percent more parallel to its original position, allowing for greater control and predictability of handling when riding in rough conditions.Tyre clearance is up to 28mm and cable routing is fully compatible with mechanical and electronic groupsets.
