An integrated LED light also adds safety after dark. Sporty and comfortable, the Allroad Helmet (MIPS) makes use of an in-mould polycarbonate shell with EPS liner to provide exceptional levels of protection. In the event of a fall, the EPS foam liner absorbs and dissipates impact forces while the tough and durable polycarbonate shell provides protection against those knocks and bumps of daily use. The design also features a removable visor, snapping in and out of the side vents without any anchor clips. Go visor-less for a sleek road look or add the visor for a more off-road aesthetic. The choice is yours. MIPS-C2® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) The Mips system is designed to provide added safety for helmets in many accidents. For certain impacts, the Mips system can reduce harmful rotational motion that might otherwise be transferred to the user’s head.Rotational motion is a common cause of concussions in oblique hits to the head.
