CeramicSpeed OSPW R9100/R8000 CoatedThis Shimano R9100/R8000 specific version of CeramicSpeed’s OSPW system features the same construction as the standard model, but it’s been enhanced to make the most of your power output even further and the increased watt outputs start at 2.4 watts. The ceramic bearings in this model have been coated with a special treatment to further reduce friction and increase protection from wear and tear. A thin coating is also applied to the bearing races, to increase corrosion resistance.Shimano Specific Pulley WheelsBecause of the design of the 9100 series derailleurs, the R&D team at CeramicSpeed tested and concluded that the best performing combination of oversized pulleys for the Shimano 9100 series is a 13-tooth upper and 19-tooth lower pulley. The design of this Shimano-specific OSPW System is very strong and stiff to ensure a high durability factor.
