This includes the Asymmetric Rim profile, which increases stiffness, the AFS Axle system that provides better disc brake stability and the 2-Way Fit that allows the use of a Tubeless Tyre setup with this wheelset.AFS Axle SystemAFS is the disc rotor mount solution developed by Fulcrum to fix the disc brake to the hub. The stability and consistency granted by the end area of the hub provide more performance than in standard rotor mounts. This makes it possible to achieve greater structural stiffness and creates more precise and powerful braking performance.Disc Brake Specific RimAs a disc brake setup does not require a braking track, Fulcrum designed a completely new rim profile, which successfully saves every single gram of weight without sacrificing structural integrity and improves aerodynamic efficiency.Asymmetric Rim ProfileThe Asymmetric design effectively improves rim tension and balances the forces from disc brakes and modern sprocket cassette ratios.Monoblock Hub for DiscTo reduce the loss of braking power from flex and torque of the central tube between the two sides of the hub, a special one-piece system has been devised with internal stiffening ribs, which eliminate flexing within the hub shell, increasing braking power and consistency.2 Way-Fit Ready (Road)This technology ensures that the wheels can be converted to use a tubeless tyre system and if preferred, you can use standard tubes also.One Hub Fits AllThis solution meets the demands of the need to be able to fit your wheels to the various axle/dropout standards on the market.
