Its 100% carbon fibre rim construction means that it's strong and stiff when climbing, without any unnecessary grams holding you back as you descend. The reduced inertia of the lightweight rim delivers instant acceleration, while its lighter spokes make the wheelset feel snappier. Its 65mm deep and 26mm wide NACA rim profile also delivers low drag and stability in crosswinds, so you can get the best out of every ride.Wind-Tunnel Tested Carbon WheelsetThe wide, rounded shape of the Cosmic SL 65 rim was developed through countless hours in the wind-tunnel to produce the lowest possible drag without sacrificing stability in crosswinds. Updated and refined spokes make it 80g lighter than its predecessor, the Comete Pro Carbon UST Disc. With a revised rim bed shape, this model is easier than ever to fit tubeless or tube-type tyres. Mavic's new Infinity hub platform optimises the spoke lacing for efficient power transfer through highly controlled spoke tension. And the Instant Drive 360 freewheel coupled with automatic bearing preload (QRM Auto) provides fast engagement, high stiffness and extra durability.Centre-Lock Disc-Brake ReadyThese wheels are engineered specifically for disc brakes, with an optimised spoke count and lacing. They are available in Centre-Lock only and are compatible with 12mm thru-axles that convert to quick release with included adaptors.
