The wider profile allows the tyre to take a straighter, less bulbous shape and in turn leaves a more uniform surface for airflow with a less discontinuous area between tyre and rim to create turbulence. Please Note: When choosing your option, the "Campagnolo" option will only work with Campagnolo 9-12-Speed road cassettes, and the "Shimano" option will only work with Shimano/SRAM 9-11-Speed road cassettes.
