With the SRAM Force 22 rear derailleur, SRAM has refined the tooth geometry of the jockey wheels. The result is that the chain runs smoother and quieter than ever before. With all the additional technologies, they have still managed to keep the weight the same, at well under 200 grams. Fitted with AeroGlide Pulleys with an updated tooth pulley design for a sound damping effect, the Force 22 road derailleur brings you an ultra-efficient and silent ride experience. The bottom and top pulleys benefit from this feature. Technologies: Exact Actuation™: When SRAM launched its road technology from scratch it reapplied its mountain bike (MTB) proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel: derailleur movement) for 11 speed rear shifting. EA helps to simplify/stabilise the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way.
