X-Matter x FRP Shell In order to keep your head safer when you take a hard slam the Xult combines iXS' X-Matter and FRP technologies. The X-Matter design sees a safety rail sandwiched between the EPS and the outer shell. This consists of a series of inserts, engineered to act as a buffer between the outer shell and EPS foam liner. The X-Matter system both absorbs and dissipates impact energies but also offsets rotational forces in the event of a crash. Meanwhile, the FRP (fibre reinforced polymer) shell allows iXS to trim bulk and weight without compromising safety or durability. The lightweight nature of the shell also reduces the effects of rotational forces on the head and thus lessens the risk of brain injury. Vortex Ventilation System Rowdy riding will soon see you working up some heat. But that's not a problem thanks to the Vortex Ventilation System. Large external vents feed directly into large internal air channels and out to the rear exhaust vents. This creates a cool rush of air over the head and ensures warm, sweaty air doesn't hang around inside. The Xult full-face also comes equipped with an ergonomic padding system, with specially designed cheek padding, guaranteeing a high degree of riding comfort and a secure and comfortable fit.
