Now on its third generation, the EQUIPE RS Targa Cycling Rain Jacket has had some tweaks to its design and construction to improve its all-around performance. The 3-layer Schloss Tex material is Assos' lightest waterproof fabric. This rustle-free, stretchy material sandwiches a more durable breathable membrane giving not only a boost to wet-weather comfort but also an increase in its ability to take on the general wear and tear of regular use. Other improvements see the removal of the previous iterations pocket slots, removing an area where water can seep inside. Instead, a two-way front zipper makes it easy to unzip from the bottom and free up access to your jersey pockets as well as giving easy control of ventilation. A stitchless rear reflective strip also removes an area of water ingress while keeping you visible when daylight fades. A tall collar keeps the elements off at the neck and an extended rear lower panel fends off tyre spray at the back. Fully taped seams also ensure a watertight seal.
