Trail-Ready Performance Using Giro's In-mould construction method, when it comes to head protection the Radix Cycle Helmet is a tough and tenacious performer. AN EPS liner provides impact protection in the event of a crash, soaking up forces that would otherwise directly hit your head. Fused to the shock-absorbing liner is a durable polycarbonate outer shell, keeping weight to a minimum while taking on those knocks and scratches from trailside overhang. You also get Giro's P.O.V. Visor, with 15 degrees of up-down adjustment. Three-riding positions get it in just the right place to keep the sun off the eyes, plus a high position to let you pull goggles up above your brow. Feel the Rush Heat and sweat are quick to build when mountain biking. But here the Wind Tunnel™ ventilation of the Artex comes into play. This system has carefully positioned vents, 25 in total, bringing in fresh air to the front where it meets internal exhaust channels that thrust cool, fresh air over and around your head while forcing heat and stale air out. This significant increase in air channelling makes a difference that riders will immediately feel and appreciate.
